2021: Accenture bought AFD.TECH

In mid-December 2021, Accenture bought AFD.TECH. The company did not disclose the financial terms of the transaction.

As part of the deal, the Accenture team will be joined by more than 1,600 highly qualified AFD.TECH specialists from around the world, as well as the French company will provide Accenture with multidisciplinary capabilities in the design, deployment and operation of next-generation networks such as 5G and fiber.

The experience acquired through the AFD.TECH deal, combined with Accenture Cloud First capabilities, will provide the company with a wide range of proven practices, operational excellence and human ingenuity, which will help customers carry out a comprehensive transformation in their disparate networks.

The global head of Accenture Cloud First Karthik Narain added that network operations and IT possibilities of AFD.TECH and also profound industry knowledge of the company will add cloud, peripheral computing, safety and network opportunities of Accenture that will help clients to form, build and operate the networks focused on a cloud computing.[1]
