2023: Chain of Stores Launch

On June 28, 2023, Inventive Retail Group announced the launch of Amazing Red sporting goods stores. It will number 100 points in more than 20 cities of Russia. The range is based on collections for running, yoga, fitness, training and trailrunning from brands such as PUMA, Nike, New Balance, Reebok, Asics, Street Beat and Hoka.

As Kommersant writes in the issue of June 28, 2023, the new Amazing Red sign has already appeared on the site of the former Puma store in the Europolis shopping center in Moscow. At the same time, previously Inventive Retail Group was a Nike partner in Russia. However, the company had to close all stores of this chain, as the company left the market in Russia.

The multi-brand chain of stores Amazing Red has become the third project of Inventive Retail Group in the segment of sports retail, - said Tikhon Smykov, President of Inventive Retail Group.

The company explained the launch of the new network by the continuing high demand and lack of sports brands. At the same time, another IRG network - Street Beat will continue to emphasize the everyday lifestyle range.

Business consultant for sales management and strategic development Denmark Tkacheva in a conversation with the newspaper noted that by the end of June 2023 in Russia there is an open demand for sports goods intended for sports in the cold season: down jackets, insulated sneakers with a membrane, warm suits, etc. A large volume of sports goods is imported from the countries of the Middle East and Africa, which do not meet the climatic characteristics of Russia, the expert explains. According to Evgenia Khakberdieva, director of the NF Group retail real estate department, a lack of high-quality supply is observed, for example, in the segment of goods for specific sports.^[1]
