Fall of Ukrainian drone with explosives

August 11, 2023 The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that an attempt to attack a Ukrainian drone was stopped in Moscow. The UAV was suppressed by electronic warfare and crashed in a forest in the west of Moscow, the department said. According to the Telegram channel Mash, fragments of a fallen unmanned aerial vehicle were found in the park zone of the 67th city hospital named after L.A. Vorokhobov.

According to RIA Novosti, after the incident, a section of the Karamyshevskaya embankment was blocked, a nearby park was cordoned off, and access to the city clinical hospital No. 67 was prohibited. In addition, the angiograph has a reduced X-ray load compared to previous generation devices.

The operating table of the angiograph is designed for patients weighing up to 210 kg. The capacity of the operational unit makes it possible to carry out operations around the clock.

Also, operating rooms are equipped with modern anesthesiological and resuscitation equipment, patient monitoring systems. Doctors have at hand all the necessary consumables for X-ray endovascular manipulations.

At City Hospital No. 67, a perinatal center was opened in Moscow for 6 billion rubles

In June 2022, a perinatal center was opened at the L.A. Vorokhobov City Clinical Hospital No. 67 in Moscow, the construction and equipment of which cost 6 billion rubles.

As Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development, said during her visit to the center, in the new center, expectant mothers will be able to receive all the necessary medical care - from planning and conducting pregnancy to giving birth and nursing newborns and observing young children.

Today we are in the largest perinatal center not only of our city and country, but also in the largest European center. It is the largest not only in terms of area, but also in terms of the scale of medical capabilities. We planned to open it in March 2020, but covid changed our plans. And this center, along with the hospital in Kommunarka, received the first patients with coronavirus. Covid has taken a back seat and today this centre is fully operational on its main profile. Almost every tenth Muscovite will be born in it. More than 160 babies have already been born here in a few weeks of work, she said.

The area of ​ ​ the perinatal center is 51.7 thousand square meters. It is designed for 392 beds: a midwife hospital with 230 beds, a pediatric unit with 100 beds, 20 resuscitation beds for adults and 42 resuscitation beds for newborns.

Special attention will be paid to women with cardiovascular diseases, respiratory diseases, endocrine, surgical pathology and various injuries.

Construction of the facility was announced and began in 2014. Initially, it was planned to put the medical center into operation in 2016 or 2017, but the construction of the facility was completed in 2020. Then, due to the burden on the health care system due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Moscow authorities decided to organize a hospital for patients with coronavirus on the basis of a medical center.[3]

Europe's largest training center for innovative surgical technologies opened in Moscow

In the two-story building of the training center with an area of ​ ​ 1.5 thousand square meters. m are located: a prototype of a real operating room - a training room for surgical technologies, a pre-operation room, rooms for storing and harvesting biological material, two lecture halls, with multimedia equipment, a lecture and simulation room.

The labor staff of the center includes 29 people, including six specialists with higher medical education.. Neurosurgery will be a key area of learning. In addition, the center organizes training courses on thoracic and maxillofacial surgery, traumatology and orthopedics, ENT.

It is noted that using imaging technologies, the invited expert can talk about the nuances of the operation, explain how not to make mistakes and avoid difficult situations. At the same time, students can monitor the actions of a specialist and perform work at their desktop.

The creation of this training system will allow us to put on the stream the training of neurosurgeons and other surgical specialists according to international standards. The training will be carried out in close cooperation with the personnel center of the Moscow Department of Health.[4]
