2022: Russian Defense Ministry sets up digital analytics department

September 22, 2022 it became known about the creation of the Department of Digital Analytics. Ministry of Defence RUSSIAN FEDERATION It was created in conjunction with (Siberian State University of Telecommunications and Informatics SibGUTI).

The new department will specialize in training personnel in the field of logistics, business analysis and system analysis in IT projects in various areas of promising digital technologies, as well as in the formation of the necessary skills for optimizing information logistics chains, assessing the effectiveness of digital transportation options.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has created a department of digital analytics

According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on September 22, 2022, so far the only state training unit in Russia that will train unique specialists in the field of digital space analysis. The initiator of the creation of this training center was the Department of Information Systems of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. According to the plans of the department, specialists who combine the knowledge of the humanities and exact sciences will be trained in the area of ​ ​ responsibility of the Department of Digital Analytics.

The main studied disciplines of the program will be artificial intelligence technologies, software for organizing and managing complex structures, research into the digital environment, and others.

Graduates of this program will be able to solve a wide range of problems, relying on modern approaches and technologies for collecting and analyzing data on the external environment of the organization and business processes. The best of the students who have shown a high level of training and achieved certain successes will have the opportunity after graduation to serve in the ERA Military Innovative Technopolis.

In order to establish and develop cooperation in the field of education and scientific and technical development, in August 2022, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Main Directorate for Innovative Development of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and SibGUTI.^[1]
