EcomCom is a service for managing sales on various marketplaces. With this platform, sellers can place items, accept orders, and manage balances at online trading sites in a single interface.

History

On October 17, 2023, the sale of 100% of EcomCom to Tochka Bank was announced. Its participants did not disclose the financial terms of the transaction.

According to the concluded agreement, Tochka bought out a 35.32% stake in Kama Flow (Sulak Capital LLC), two founders of EcomCom Alexei Fedosenko (32.33%) and Konstantin Kanivts (32.34%). The bank also repaid an EcomCom investment loan in the amount of 8 million rubles, which was provided by the Moscow Seed Fund in 2021.

Experts interviewed by Vedomosti estimate the deal at 200-250 million rubles. According to the estimates of the general director of Infoline Analytics Mikhail Burmistrov, the amount of the transaction took into account the turnover of companies on the platform and could amount to about 500 million rubles. He considers the transaction effective and promising in terms of sales and other services, including banking.

Eduard Adamyan, partner of the Kama Flow fund, noted in mid-October 2023 that the fund entered EcomCom almost immediately after its foundation (the startup appeared in 2021), and the discussion of a possible investment round began about a year ago, but in the end the bank decided to fully buy out the service.

According to the press service of Tochka Bank, the founders of EcomCom, after selling their shares, will retain the previous legal entity and continue to develop the product under the Tochka Marketplaces brand.

Combining the efforts of the two teams, we created the Marketplaces Point service. Despite the large amount of work done, the founders and I are only at the beginning of the journey. Our goal is to improve the experience of entrepreneurs in the field of e-commerce and become market leaders. I am grateful to the team of founders for their trust, and I am sure that an interesting future awaits us, "said Andrei Zavadskikh, CEO of Tochka.[1]
