Euroonko specializes in the treatment of cancer and owns clinics in Moscow (Center for Innovative Medical Technologies), St. Petersburg, Krasnodar and Samara (by August 2023).

General Director of Infoline Analytics Mikhail Burmistrov, in a conversation with the publication, noted that interest in medical assets in the Russian Federation has increased amid growing demand for the services of domestic specialists. Earlier, many Russians believed that foreign doctors are more professional, but the possibilities of Russian medicine are expanding, the attitude towards specialists is changing, he explained.

According to Nikolai Bespalov, Development Director of RNC Pharma, due to sanctions, fewer citizens of the Russian Federation can visit other countries for treatment and patients are forced to contact domestic clinics.

The expert believes that Sberbank plans to resell the asset at the highest price than to engage in its strategic development. However, the head of DSM Group Sergey Shulyak believes that the bank will increase its stake in Euroonko due to its investment attractiveness.[1]

The clinic continues to operate without restrictions by September 17, 2021.
