InfoWatch Gulf is representative office of InfoWatch group in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The company is registered in the free economic zone of DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre).

History

2019: Start of InfoWatch Academy in the UAE

The InfoWatch group announced on January 9, 2018 start in the UAE of the international education center under the InfoWatch Academy brand. The InfoWatch Gulf company, official representative office of group in the region of the Middle East which obtained the license for rendering educational services in the field of the information security (IS) in the United Arab Emirates became operator of the center (license No. DMCC-577792 is granted by the Government of Dubai).

The InfoWatch academy will offer Middle Eastern customers the short-term and medium-term training programs and rates in information security fields and also specialized trainings on creation of the cybersecurity systems of the enterprises using solutions of the class DLP (Data Leak Prevention).

The project in general is aimed at increase in level of digital competences in the field of information security of specialists and heads of the organizations of the public and commercial sector of the UAE and also training in bases of cyberliteracy of school students and students of the region. As of January 9 conditions of cooperation with the first clients among which there is a Digital department of the Government of the Emirate of Adzhman are discussed, told in InfoWatch.

The education subject, especially in the field of information security, is extremely demanded in the region — the head of InfoWatch Gulf Christina Tantsyura noted. — We see the task in export not only our technologies, but also examination therefore we start the educational project in the UAE. Development of InfoWatch Academy will be performed in partnership with the Russian and foreign educational institutions and the IT companies. Further we intend to replicate our rates and on other countries of the region.

The InfoWatch academy offers clients short-term and medium-term training programs and also specialized master classes in cybersecurity for government employees, top management of the companies. Short-term trainings — "Protection of the organizations against internal threats of cybersecurity" (Corporate protection from internal Treats), "A public key infrastructure as a basis of the electronic government" (Public key infrastructure as a basis for e-government) — are calculated on 8-24 class period. Duration of medium-term rates is Incident response and computer crimes investigation, "Cyber security of the cryptoindustry and blockchain technologies" (Cyber security of the crypto industry and blockchain) and also rate for children "The digital hygiene and professions of the future" (Digital hygiene & The professions of the future) — is from 40 to 56 class periods.

The command of Academy works on expansion of a line of educational products. Other programs among which — rates on digital hygiene, protection of critical information infrastructure and also ethic hacking, testing for protection against unauthorized access and the return engineering, it is going to start in 2019.

Plans of creation of the international training center of digital technologies and cyber security of InfoWatch in the Middle East it was announced in 2018. Within the meeting of the head of InfoWatch Group Natalya Kasperskaya with the CEO of Digital department of the Government of the Emirate of Adzhman Okhud of Ohoud Ali Shehail of the party agreed about start of a pilot project of training of staff of Digital department of the Government of the Emirate of Adzhman in training programs of InfoWatch.

2018: 14 pilots on the implementing solutions InfoWatch in the Middle East

The InfoWatch Group (G), summed up on August 21, 2018 the results of the first year of work of the official representation in the region of the Middle East — InfoWatch Gulf in Dubai (UAE).

For last year the representation implements 14 pilot projects on the implementing solutions InfoWatch in government institutions and the large companies of the countries of the Middle East, six of them — in the United Arab Emirates. Several organizations, including Land department of the Government of Dubai (Dubai Land Department) which is responsible for market development of the real estate in the emirate became clients of the company. In addition, InfoWatch Gulf strengthened cooperation with already existing clients among whom there are Central Bank of Bahrain, Prime Minister’s Court of Bahrain, Venture Capital Bank, First Energy Bank B.S.C. (Bahrain), Kuwait Finance House (Kuwait), Petrochem (UAE), Haward Technology.

Several tens of integrators among which there are Ahmed Al Housani Computer Programs Trading Company, Avalon, Delta Line International, Ferrostaal, Mah Technologies (UAE), Fakhro Electronics (Bahrain), Global Solutions (Egypt) became partners of InfoWatch Gulf.

InfoWatch Gulf actively develops cooperation with authorities for strengthening of cyber security in the region. In 2018 the agreement on cooperation InfoWatch was signed with the Government of the Emirate of Adzhman in the field of implementation of new technologies in state bodies of the emirate and also about joint development of educational programs in information technology field and information security for development of personnel potential in this industry.

In addition, the company participates in project development, the Russian-Emirates technology initiatives directed to rapprochement and promotion of the Russian technologies on this market. For example, within the Eighth Intergovernmental Russian-Emirates commission on trade, economic and to sci-tech cooperation the initiative of creation of the working group on information technologies and also the center of support of the Russian export of information and digital technologies together with the Russian export center and Skolkovo Foundation was accepted.

2017: The beginning of work in Dubai

On August 15 the InfoWatch group (G) announced completion of registration and the beginning of work of representative office of InfoWatch Gulf in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The head on business development of InfoWatch Group in the Middle East Christina Tantsyura headed the company.

Tasks of division include development of direct sales in the markets of the countries of the Middle East, technical support of the acting clients of InfoWatch, partner interaction and also customer training and partners in the Middle East region to work with products of the company.

The Russian engineers of implementation and also local gurus, including the chief technical executive, specialists in the field of sales, administrative personnel will join the InfoWatch Gulf command.

Products and the solutions InfoWatch in the field of corporate information security gain the increasing recognition in the world and to take the next step in accumulation of the export potential, we made the decision on a full-fledged entry of the company into key sales markets — Christina Tantsyura, the head of InfoWatch Gulf told. — The Middle Eastern representative office is faced by a task to build the complex presence in the region considering direct customer interaction and partners.
