History

2024: Inter RAO bought out Mordashov's structure share in Kashirskaya GRES for 6.4 billion rubles

On February 29, 2024, PJSC Inter RAO acquired 50% of Kashirskaya GRES LLC from the structure of Alexei Mordashov for 6.4 billion rubles. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the report of Inter RAO. Thus, Inter RAO's share in the company is now 100%.

2023

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the contribution of Nordenergogroup to the capital of Kashirskaya GRES as of November 2023 amounted to 5.68 billion rubles.

2021

In 2021, Kashirskaya GRES was selected as part of a competition for modernization. According to the plan, two 900 MW power units will be built by 2028. They will be created on the basis of the GTE-17.0.1 turbine, the author of the development is Power Machines JSC.

2019

In 2019, Inter RAO began decommissioning the plant's power units, and now its capacity is zero.

2011

Kashirskaya GRES LLC was established in 2011 by Inter RAO and Nordenergogroup to implement the Kashirskaya GRES project. The project used the equipment of Power Machines JSC. Later, the parties signed an agreement on the joint implementation of the project for the modernization of the Kashirskaya state district power plant and the further operation of new power units of the power plant.

1922

Kashirskaya GRES was built in 1922. It was the first power plant built according to the GOELRO plan. The power of the station at that time was 12 MW. At its peak, the GRES had a capacity of 2,068 MW.
