2022: Beginning of the institution's work

In early September 2022, the MGIMO-MED Medical University was opened, established on the initiative of the Governor of the Moscow Region, MGIMO and the Mother and Child Group of Companies. It was launched on the basis of the Odintsovo branch of MGIMO, the press service of the governor and the government of the Moscow region reports.

The first recruitment for the "Medical Case" program in the new educational institution included 16 students. Each of them will receive individual attention from teachers.

It is also noted that the teaching staff includes medical experts from foreign universities, but specific countries are not named. At the same time, students will be able in the future to return most of the cost of their studies to MGIMO-MED, if after graduation they go to work in medical centers of the Moscow region.

The educational process will be carried out at the sites of the Lapino Clinical Hospital, where a separate educational building will be built, the Odintsovo campus of MGIMO, as well as partners in the implementation of the program in a network form.

It is noted that the curriculum of the program includes a large amount of language training - students will be able to study a number of disciplines with the involvement of leading foreign specialists and the active use of foreign sources.
