NMITs of health of children (National medical research center of health of children) of the Russian Ministry of Health

"The national medical research center of health of children" (NMITs of health of children) the Ministries of Health of the Russian Federation is the center of leadership which possesses a special role in formation of the Strategy of development of children's health care of Russia and implementation of the main directions of Decade of the childhood (2018-2027).

History

2015: Transition to maintaining the Russian Ministry of Health

Since 2015. The center became subordinated to the Russian Ministry of Health. The feature of the leading pediatric Center of the country consists in harmonious connection of basic and application studies with rendering multi-profile hi-tech medical care to children and preparation of the scientific and medical personnel.

2012

For August, 2012 the public scientific and clinical institution of new type – Federal State Budgetary Institution "Scientific center of health of children" of the Russian Academy of Medical Science – is created for development of scientific bases of improvement of a system of health protection of children.

1998: Creation of Scientific center of health of children of the Russian Academy of Medical Science

In 1998 by merge of scientific research institute of pediatrics and scientific research institute of hygiene and health protection of children the Scientific center of health of children of the Russian Academy of Medical Science was created.

1945: Entry into the structure of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences

Organization already as scientific research institute of pediatrics in 1945 was a part of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences.

1918-1923: Conversions

The educational house was transformed to the House of protection of the baby in 1918, and then in the State scientific institute of protection of motherhood and an infancy (1923).

1763: A clinic for children

The history of the National medical research center of health of children goes back to the middle of the 18th century. It began to function as "a clinic for children" at the Imperial Moscow educational house on the basis of Catherine II's Manifesto of September 1, 1763.
