2024: The court recovered 12.7 million rubles from Vladimir Krasnov for theft of medical furniture

The Zaeltsovsky District Court of Novosibirsk recovered 12.7 million rubles from the former head of the Novosibirsk Research Institute of Tuberculosis (NNIIT) of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Vladimir Krasnov, who was sentenced to 4.5 years in prison. Read more here.

2023: Vladimir Krasnov sentenced to 4.5 years in prison in an embezzlement case

In May 2023, the trial of the former director of the Research Institute of Tuberculosis of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Vladimir Krasnov ended in Novosibirsk. He was assigned 4.5 years in a general regime colony in the embezzlement case (part 4 of article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), according to the prosecutor's office of the Novosibirsk region. 2022: Accusation of Vladimir Krasnov in multimillion-dollar fraud in the procurement of medical devices

In mid-June 2022, the prosecutor's office of the Novosibirsk region approved the indictment in a criminal case against the former head of the tuberculosis research institute Vladimir Krasnov on abuse of office. The prosecutor's office entered into a pre-trial cooperation agreement with the accused. Read more here.

2021: Former head of the Novosibirsk Research Institute of Tuberculosis Vladimir Krasnov was suspected of embezzling 80 million rubles

In early February 2021, it became known that a criminal case was opened in Novosibirsk on embezzlement during public procurement of the Research Institute of Tuberculosis of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. The case is being investigated under Part 4 of Art. 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (assignment on an especially large scale) and Art. 174.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (money laundering).
