The Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO is a joint project of representatives of Russian and international business, who have joined forces to create a new generation business school from scratch.

Focusing on practical knowledge, the Moscow School of Management is designed to educate leaders who expect to apply their professional knowledge in fast-growing markets. SKOLKOVO is distinguished by: leadership and entrepreneurship, a focus on rapidly developing markets, an innovative approach to teaching methods.

The project of the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO is implemented on the principle of private-public partnership within the framework of the priority national project "Education." Chairman of the International Board of Trustees of SKOLKOVO is Dmitry Anatolyevich, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.

Since 2006, SKOLKOVO has been conducting short-term Executive Education programs for senior and middle managers - programs in an open format, as well as specialized integrated modules developed at the request of companies. In January 2009, the first Executive MBA program began, in September 2009 - the first international Full-time MBA program, in June 2012 - the SKOLKOVO Startup Academy.

Results of the program for top managers on business cyber resilience

The Skolkovo Management School and RTK-Solar summed up the results of the educational program "Building a Cyber ​ ​ Resilient Business," prepared for top managers with the support of the Ministry of Digital Science. The company "RTK-Solar" announced this on January 18, 2023.

The online course "Building a Cyber ​ ​ Resilient Business" was held by 70 managers in eight days, 40 participants represented neighboring countries. Among the listeners were leaders of 14 functional areas, such as, information security,, IT, and marketing HR finance a number of others.

Students of the program completed three training modules: "Cybersecurity as a management system," "Cybersecurity process management" and "Tools for implementing a cybersecurity strategy."

The teachers of the course were:

The most important result of this first experience in our country in training company leaders in the basics of building a cybersecurity business is a high assessment of the knowledge gained by the course participants themselves. They noted the breadth of the information provided on the basics of cyber defense, its practicability, the availability of knowledge reporting by very experienced speakers. 78% of the participants plan the further implementation of the project developed within the framework of the program, - said Oleg Sedov.

In 2023, it is planned to hold two more streams of the program for a Russian-speaking audience, as well as one stream for the English-speaking market of friendly countries. In addition, a new program is being discussed for managers appointed under the 250 Decree of the President of the Russian Federation "On Additional Measures to Ensure Information Security of the Russian Federation."

2019: Skolkovo Business School takes part in TAdviser SummIT

On November 27, 2019, the Moscow Skolkovo School of Management took part in an exhibition dedicated to TAdviser SummIT and presented a diploma program for directors and teams on digital transformation of companies - "Digital Transformation Management (CDTO)."

This is an international diploma educational program for directors and teams for digital transformation of companies (Chief Digital Transformation Officer/CDTO), aimed at developing the competencies necessary to implement the tasks of digital transformation of the company.

To date, the program's alumni community (CDTO club) already consists of more than 90 technological and innovative leaders who are building together the future of their company, industry and country.

The key advantage is a global context and a practice-oriented approach. Program participants will master the main set of tools for transforming the business model and organizational structure of the company, study models of working with data and digital assets.

Audience: senior and middle managers, business owners interested in business development and obtaining one of the most popular and highly paid professions in the global labor market - CDTO (Director for Digital Transformation).

2018: Cooperation with Huawei

On October 15, 2018, the company Huawei announced that it had signed an agreement with the Moscow School of Management. Skolkovo According to the company, the agreement implies partnership in the field of modern ICT technologies - including in the field of digital transformation - and cooperation in the implementation of joint educational projects. The memorandum was signed by Vice President of Huawei Russia in Zhao Lei and President of the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo Andrei Sharonov.

The agreement of intent addresses a whole range of development goals, objectives and vectors that take into account the wide expertise of both parties: education, scientific activity, training. The priority areas of the partnership are joint training of specialists within the framework of the educational program "Digital Economy in the Russian Federation," international information cooperation and the organization of lectures and seminars to train directors on big data management.

To achieve their goals, the companies plan to exchange experience in the field of ICT education, organize trips of students of the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo to Huawei headquarters in China to get acquainted with international practices in the field of high technologies and their further effective application in their own projects. In addition, the protocol of intent involves mutual consultations.

2017: Opening of the "Risk Institute"

On August 28, 2017, AlfaStrakhovanie, in partnership with the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo and the RBC information holding, announced the launch of the Risk Institute educational project (Институтриска.рф). The mission of the educational project for risk managers is to form a professional community of experts in the field of risk management in industry, large and medium-sized businesses in the country.

The institute's program emphasizes the development of practical skills, so a detailed analysis of examples from Russian and international business practice will be central to the educational process. Students of the Risk Institute will study real situations in the life of companies, get acquainted with specific management strategies and methods. All this will subsequently allow them to best apply the knowledge gained in practice.

As part of the 2017 program, the institute will hold a series of meetings during which students, together with experts from the Skolkovo business school, will understand the main trends in modern approaches to risk assessment in the changing conditions of the new economy. Each meeting is a one-day session dedicated to a separate topic. During the fall of 2017, the institute will host three sessions: Global Risk Landscape (September), Risk Analysis and Forecasting (October), Risk Management Systems (November).
