2019: SNIIP implements management systems for production processes

JSC SNIIP implements management systems for a production cycle. Since 2015, the institute of instrument making conducts work regarding optimization of production processes and increase in efficiency of horizontal interaction through complex automation of product lifecycle.

For this purpose the PDM system (Product Data Management) designed to reduce terms of development and approval of design documentation not less than by 30% due to implementation of digital technologies prepares for input in commercial operation. Today a system functions for 80%, plans for completion of works – 2019.

In the same communication positive results of the Party of Social Reforms of the project on system implementation of remote monitoring of problems of production are received. According to the results of reporting period it was succeeded to reduce by 10 times a response time of production services by emergence and fixation of a problem with further initiation of corrective actions. In total in 2018 it was given 30 PPU from production divisions which are aimed at increase in qualitative indexes, development and maintenance of system 5C.

2017: The order portfolio for the 10-year period makes 18 billion rubles

On results of 2017 revenue of the company was increased by 15% in comparison with 2016, and made 4.5 billion rubles. Labor productivity also in comparison with 2016 grew by 10%, and is equal to 8.5 million rubles, on the person in a year. The built order portfolio for the 10-year period makes 18 billion rubles.

In 2017 it was succeeded to solve the problems directed to high-quality growth and development of the enterprise. Some of successfully implemented projects can call expansion of participation on marketplaces, including not atomic markets, and signing of the contracts for the total amount of 10.5 billion rubles Was also started the new direction of business – the system of environmental monitoring.

Within civil instrument making large deliveries of the key equipment of radiation control to the starting power unit of the Leningrad AES-2, the New Voronezh NPP were implemented, the ASRK system on the fourth power unit of the Rostov NPP is put into commercial operation. Regarding foreign projects in 2017 on own polygon of JSC SNIIP tests were complete and the ASRK and ACS systems for the second queue of the Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant are shipped. On the third power unit of the ASRK and ACS system are put into trial operation and prepare for transfer to operation. Within the Armenian nuclear power plant delivered the system of a neutron flow and a software and hardware complex of control of a leakage from the first circuit in the second.

2015: Development of domestic computer systems

In January, 2015 division Atomenergomash - SNIIP - announced that it conducts works on the import substitution program in the field of computer technologies. The institute told TAdviser that within this program network racks, server software and hardware complexes, the automated jobs can release.

Development of these machines took three years, their prototype passed successful tests, added to SNIIP. The institute did not report what processors are used in such systems, but noted that they "correspond to the Intel Core i3 and i5 level". Production of computing systems is in Russia, assembly is performed on production sites of Institute of electronic managing machines of I.S. Brook (INEUM).

"Each system at the moment becomes "on a turn-key basis", respectively, order amount always very different. After these machines are manufactured, they pass tests in SNIIP where filling by the software and its certification, including on cyber security parameters is performed", - explained TAdviser at institute.

SNIIP conducts development of ADP equipment within the import substitution program

Representatives of institute added that the machine for the customer can be assembled "turnkey" depending on his requirements: for example, EMS – the protected machines, can be executed both of stainless steel, and of any other material. They can be executed as using cheap solutions, and to conform to strict requirements, for example, for work in an aggressive environment.

"The import substitution program of institute of instrument making is directed to an exception of technology dependence on foreign deliveries. A main goal of program implementation – solution of the problem of a complete set of the new and upgraded blocks of the NPP the domestic ADP equipment which is conforming to modern requirements and not of a lower quality and reliability to import analogs", - explain in SNIIP.

SNIIP told TAdviser that in addition to nuclear sector, the computing systems developed within the program are going to be delivered also on oil and gas industrial facilities.

Development and "turnkey" installation of a complex of the top level of an automated system of the radiation control constructed entirely "on the basis of domestic computing means and program software developed in SNIIP from scratch" became one of projects according to the import substitution program in the field of computer technologies.

According to statements of developers, the computer system created by them has the required performance and reliability. In the short term similar solutions will be implemented in systems important for security, on subjects to use of atomic energy, add at institute.

Activity of SNIIP from the moment of its creation in 1952 is directed to solving of tasks of ensuring nuclear and radiation safety at power generation on the NPP; during the operation of research reactors and installations; when carrying out technology processes at the enterprises yaderno — a fuel cycle, at operation of the surface ships and vessels with a nuclear energenticheskimi installations; at operation of other nuclear and radiation-hazardous objects.

Specialists of SNIIP developed and implemented the large measuring and information and managing program and hardware complexes providing control of a nuclear, radiation and ecological situation on many industrial and defense facilities in operation. Complexes are set practically on all power units of the NPP constructed by the Russian companies in Russia and abroad and also in several research nuclear centers.

The institute creates over 2.5 thousand types of different devices and systems, special electronic blocks and devices of several generations. Many specialists working at the enterprise have degrees of doctors and candidates of science.

All Russian atomic ice breakers and other vessels with nuclear power stations are equipped with the automated systems of radiation control developed and made by SNIIP.

SNIIP was parent organization on development of the concept and the principles of creation of a system of radiation safety of the country. Many enterprises of the country from 16 different departments took part in this work. As a result of carrying out big research and organizational work the ideology was developed and the concept of creation of the Uniform state automated system of control of a radiation situation of the country (EGASKRO) is created.
