Opening of the Master's Program "Artificial Intelligence and Data Science"

Sberbank and St. Petersburg State University (St. Petersburg State University) have opened a master's degree educational program "Artificial Intelligence and Data Science." This agreement was signed on December 1, 2023 by the Managing Director, Head of the Directorate of Academic Partnerships of Sberbank Andrei Ocheretny and the First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of St. Petersburg State University Marina Lavrikova.

At this graduate program, students will study applied machine learning tasks, including those related to large language models and their use in business tasks. Students will try to develop applications using Sberbank's artificial intelligence GigaChat. The program also has a special course on the use of artificial intelligence technologies to solve problems arising in the Arctic region of Russia.

One of the distinctive features of the educational program is the tripartite implementation. Part of the classes will be held at the university, the other two - on the basis of Sberbank and in the St. Petersburg Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

2022: Agreement with Spectrum to prepare 5G developers

2019

Cooperation with Netrika to develop programs for basic and additional education

On December 20, 2019, it became known that the company Netrika"" signed a cooperation agreement St. Petersburg state with the university. The partnership will concern the joint development of programs for basic and additional, formations organization scientific and innovation activities, as well as employment and adaptation of university graduates.

The event on the topic "Digitalization of public administration: projects and professions" was held during the project "Professional Environments" of the Faculty of Political Science. The signing of the agreement was a logical step in the development of partnership between Netrika and St. Petersburg State University: earlier the company had already worked closely with the university.

Opening of the 5G Dream Lab together with Megafon
