History

2021: Accenture bought Tambourine

In mid-November 2021 Accenture , she announced the purchase of the Japanese customer service agency e-commerce Tambourine. Financial the terms of the transaction are not disclosed.

Acquisition of Tambourine corresponds to the strategy of Accenture on creation of stronger offer of services in the field of marketing, trade and design of client experience by the continuous skills development, skills and abilities necessary for creation of exclusive commercial experience.

In 2020, Tambourine received the Salesforce Partner Innovation Award and is one of the few companies in Japan to receive Salesforce's industry-recognized Level 1 specialist certificate in B2C Commerce. As part of the deal, Tambourine's team of approximately 70 customer service professionals, designers and cloud engineers will join Accenture Interactive in Japan.

Tambourine is the latest company in a number of acquisitions that Accenture has made to quickly increase commercial experience. Other purchases include Expertise from Brazil, Glamit from Argentina and Openmind from Italy.[1]
