History

2021: Attraction of $280 million, including from DST Global

At the beginning of January, 2021 Udaan announced attraction of $280 million investments. Invested in the Indian B2B-marketplace both the new, and acting investors. The DST Global fund of Yury Milner treats the last.

In addition to DST Global, Lightspeed Venture Partners, GGV Capital, Altimeter Capital, Tencent, Octahedron Capital and Moonstone Capital took part in a round of financing of a startup. The last two funds invested in Udaan for the first time. How many means were provided to a startup by each of investors, is not specified.

According to the results of the investment transaction the cost of Udaan was estimated at $3 billion, Reuters with reference to the informant reports. Neither the company, nor her investors began to open startup assessment. By the beginning of January, 2021 the Udaan company attracted in total $1.15 billion.

Udaan intends to use new investments for increase in bigger number of clients among representatives of small and medium business across all India, expansion of the range of products and improvement of functionality of the platform. Besides, money will go for improvement of logistics and development of the technology program.[1]

2018-2019

The DST Global fund of Yury Milner for the first time invested in Udaan company in 2018, having participated in a round for $50 million. In the same to year DST Global participated in a round for the total amount of $225 million. In 2019 Udaan closed a round for $585 million which participant was also DST Global.
