V.R. Williams Federal Center for Feed Production and Agroecology

The Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "Federal Scientific Center for Feed Production and Agroecology named after V.R. Williams" (FNC "VIC named after V.R. Williams") is a scientific organization. The scientific and methodological management of the Center is carried out by the RAS. The purpose of the Center's activities is to carry out fundamental, exploratory and applied scientific research, development work, the introduction of achievements of science and best practices aimed at obtaining new knowledge in the field of the agro-industrial complex, contributing to its technological, economic and social development^[1]

History

2018: Connection of the Kirov meadow-ground experimental station

In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation dated September 7, 2018 No. 670 "On the reorganization of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution" Federal Scientific Center for Feed Production and Agroecology named after V.R. Williams "The Center was reorganized in the form of joining it as a branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution" Kirov Meadow-Ground Experimental Station. " FSBI "Kirovskaya LOS" was the successor of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Kirov Meadow-Swallow Experimental Station," which is the successor of the Vyatka Meadow-Seed Farm, created in accordance with the decision of the reclamation meeting at the Vyatka Provincial Land Department of May 22, 1918.

2017: Reorganization and renaming as the V.R. Williams Federal Center for Feed Production and Agroecology

In accordance with the order of the Federal Agency for Scientific Organizations dated February 17, 2017 No. 102, the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "All-Russian Research Institute of Feed named after V.R. Williams" (FSBNU "VNII Feed named after V.R. Williams") was reorganized in the form of joining it as branches of five scientific institutions:

• Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "All-Russian Research Institute of Lupin" (FSBNU "VNII Lupin"),
• Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "Kaliningrad Research Institute of Agriculture" (FGBNU "KNIISS"),
• Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "Yaroslavl Research Institute of Animal Husbandry and Fodder Production" (FSBNU "YarNIIZHK"),
• Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution Novozybkovskaya Agricultural Experimental Station of the All-Russian Lupin Research Institute (FSBNU NSOS VNII Lupin) and
• Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "Voronezh Experimental Station for Perennial Herbs of the All-Russian Research Institute of Feed named after V.R. Williams" (FSBNU "Voronezh OS for Perennial Herbs of the All-Russian Research Institute of Feed named after V.R. Williams").

In accordance with the order of the Federal Agency for Scientific Organizations dated December 6, 2017 No. 927, the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "All-Russian Research Institute of Feed named after V.R. Williams" (FSBNU "All-Russian Research Institute of Feed named after V.R. Williams") reorganized: new name - Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "Federal Scientific Center for Feed Production and Agroecology named after V.R. Williams"; abbreviated name - FNC "VIC named after V.R. Williams"^[2]

2013: Institute transferred to the jurisdiction of the Federal Agency for Scientific Organizations

In accordance with the Federal Law of September 27, 2013 No. 253-FZ "On the Russian Academy of Sciences, reorganization of state academies of sciences and amendments to certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation "and by order of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 30, 2013 No. 2591-r of the Federal State Budgetary Institution" VNII feed named after V.R. Williams, " FSBNU VNII Lupina, FSBNU KNIISH, FSBNU YarNIIZHK, FSBNU NSOS VNII Lupina and FSBNU Voronezh OS for perennial herbs of VNII feed named after V.R. Williams "were transferred to the FANO of Russia.

1992: Renamed the All-Russian Research Institute of Feed named after V.R. Williams

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of January 30, 1992 No. 84 "On the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences," a single Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences was created on the basis of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the All-Union Academy of Agricultural Sciences, which was transferred to the FSBNU "VNII feed named after V.R. Williams," FSBNU VNII Lupina, FSBNU YarNIIZhK, FSBNU NSOS VNII Lupina, FSBNU KNIISSh and FSBNU Voronezh OS for perennial herbs of VNII feed named after V.R. Williams.

Based on the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation of May 12, 1992 No. VMP-1-17763, the All-Union Research Institute of Feed named after V.R. Williams was renamed the All-Russian Research Institute of Feed named after V.R. Williams.

1991: Institute transferred to the jurisdiction of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences

According to the order of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the RSFSR and the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences of October 2, 1991 No. 976/48-pc, it was transferred to the jurisdiction of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

1939: Renaming to the All-Union Research Institute of Feed named after V.R. Williams

According to the decree of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR of December 13, 1939 No. 2042, the All-Union Institute of Feed was renamed the All-Union Research Institute of Feed named after V.R. Williams.

1930: Transformation into the All-Union Institute of Feed

In 1930, the State Meadow Institute was transformed into the All-Union Institute of Feed (order of the People's Commissariat of the USSR of November 19, 1930 No. 290).

1924: Assignment to the V.R. Williams Institute

The College of the People's Commissariat of the USSR in a meeting of April 5, 1924, the State Meadow Institute was named after Professor V.R. Williams (Vasily Robertovich Williams - founder of the State Meadow Institute).

1922: Establishment of the State Meadow Institute

By the decision of the Collegium of the People's Commissariat of Agriculture of the USSR (Order No. 184 of June 12, 1922), the State Meadow Institute was created on the basis of the Station for the Study of Forage Plants and Forage Area.

1917: Conversion to the Station for the Study of Forage Plants and Forage Area

In 1917, on the basis of the Demonstration Meadow Farm, the Station for the Study of Feed Plants and Feed Area was created at the Petrovsky Agricultural Academy (until 1917, the Moscow Agricultural Institute).

1912: Establishment of a Show Meadow Farm

In 1912, a demonstration meadow farm was created at the higher courses in meadow breeding of the Moscow Agricultural Institute.
