Biography

Grigory Kocharov graduated from Yerevan Polytechnic Institute, Faculty of Technical Cybernetics.

He studied human resources and marketing at the Management Center Europe (France), and also graduated from a number of technology and business courses in Russia, Germany and the USA.

In 1984-1989 worked as an engineer at NPO Nord. After that, until 1993 he was an engineer, group leader at the Institute of Physical Research of the Academy of Sciences of the Armenian SSR.

From 1993 to 2000 he headed various divisions of Schlumberger in Russia. He headed the regional office in Tyumen.

Since 2001 he has been working at IBS. Until 2004, he served as Deputy General Director, Director for Work with Fuel and Energy Complex Companies. After that, he combined the position of deputy general director sequentially with the positions of director of the SAP branch at IBS, director of the department of corporate management systems.

In 2009-2013 He was Senior Vice President of the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee.

In 2013, he took the position of head of the Data Management division at IBS. Since 2013, he served as First Deputy General Director, and since 2014, he also headed the Business Solutions division.

2020: IBS CEO

In March 2020, IBS announced that the company's board of directors approved Grigory Kocharov as CEO. Members of the Board of Directors expressed confidence that under the leadership of Kocharov, the company will continue its dynamic development.
