Biography

Born in Leningrad, graduated with honors from the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics of St. Petersburg State University, also has a master's degree in management from the Faculty of Economics of St. Petersburg State University. He is the author of various scientific publications in the field of suboptimal algorithms, optimization of data storage and cryptography, as well as student adaptation programs in modern IT companies.

Since the late 90s, he has been actively involved in the formation and attraction of foreign companies in the field of computer security and knowledge-intensive software development (Nokia, Quest Diagnostics, BioDiscovery, AtBusiness Oyj). In 2003, he headed the development group of Enkata Inc, which specialized in the field of analytical processing of large amounts of data, from where in 2007 he moved to Siperian, the leader of the MDM market, to the position of head of the development center in St. Petersburg, which was later acquired by Informatica Corp in 2010.

Since 2010, Sergei Kuznetsov has headed the Russian division of Informatica, which has over 100 employees in the offices of S-Petersburg, Moscow and Kazan, responsible for the MDM development, cloud technologies and data replication divisions.

In 2012, he became the head of the company TaskDate (TaskData), a system integrator and developer of applications in the field of information management, quality assurance and data cleaning. Since 2014, he also heads UniData, a Russian manufacturer. software According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, as of 2021, Sergei Kuznetsov is one of the key co-owners of both of these companies.
