Skoch Vladimir Nikitovich (born 1933, RSFSR, USSR) is a Russian businessman, co-owner of the mining and metallurgical holding Metalloinvest (30% of the shares), father of State Duma deputy and businessman Andrei Skoch.

Biography

Born in a village family. After school he graduated from the railway school, worked as an assistant driver on a freight train.

After serving military service in the Armed Forces of the USSR, in the late 1950s he entered the Moscow aviation plant Salyut as a grinder. Vladimir Skoch worked at this enterprise until 1995.

After retirement, he became a carpenter.

Since 1999, he has owned a 30% stake in USM Holdings. In addition to this asset, Vladimir Skoch, in partnership with Vitaly Vantsev, also owned a block stake in Vnukovo Airport OJSC and a controlling stake in Vnukovo International Airport OJSC (terminal B, the state has 25% plus one share) - through Vnukovo-Invest and the Aviation and Oil Company.
