Skoch Andrei Vladimirovich has been a parliamentarian of the State Duma of the Russian Federation for more than 20 years. Andrei Skoch is also known as the founder of the charitable foundation "Pokoleniye"‎, which is engaged in both long-term social projects and targeted assistance to those who need it.

Andrei Skoch comes from the village of Nikolskoye, which in 1960 became part of Moscow and ceased to be a village. After graduating from school, like most young men, he served in the army, and when he returned, he received higher education.

Andrei Vladimirovich Skoch chose for himself a difficult specialty - psychology. He graduated from MGSU (formerly Moscow State Open Pedagogical University) and later defended his thesis.

In the early 90s, like many young people, Andrei Skoch tried his hand in the entrepreneurial field, together with Lev Kvetn, he first founded the business of assembling and selling computers and components, and subsequently also carried out trade in petroleum products.

After 5 years, Skoch joined the number of shareholders in Interfax, which later went through reorganization and grew into Metalloinvest Group of Companies.

Entrepreneurship did not become a matter of life for Andrei Skocha - after several successful investments, he reduced his direct participation in business and began to engage in politics, and entrusted business to his father.

In 1999, Andrei Skoch was elected to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, representing the Belgorod region, and won 54% of the vote. Since then, lawmaking and charity have become his main areas of business interest.

The Healthy pokoleniye"‎ Foundation (later renamed Pokoleniye"‎) was founded by Andrei Skoch back in 1996. The charitable organization helps cultural and scientific figures, families with three or more children, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, old people, people with disabilities and many others. The Andrei Skoch Foundation also sponsors the construction of medical institutions in the Belgorod region and provides financial support for the reconstruction and restoration of military graves.

2020: Dividend and asset revenues - $875 million

On September 22, 2021, Forbes magazine presented an updated rating of Russian billionaires, in which it estimated the "real, live money" received for the sale of assets or in the form of dividends for 2020, and not the value of assets owned by entrepreneurs. Awards

Andrei Skoch was repeatedly awarded honorary titles and awards for his merits in the field of legislative and charitable work. In 1998, for assistance in the field of social rehabilitation of disabled people, as well as for the protection of their interests and rights, he was awarded the medal of the Order of Merit to the Fatherland of the II degree. Five years later, he received the Order of Merit to the Fatherland of the 1st degree for conscientious work and labor achievements.

In 2003, Andrei Skoch was awarded the medal "For Merit to the Land of Belgorod" I degree for his contribution to the development of the region and charity.

In 2008, the politician received two awards at once: a diploma of honor of the State Duma for his contribution to the development of Russian legislation and a medal of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for helping to perpetuate the memory of the dead defenders of the Fatherland.

In 2009, Andrei Skoch received thanks from the President of Russia for his social activities, as well as for his successful work as a deputy of the State Duma.

In 2010, Andrei Vladimirovich was awarded the Order of Honor for his significant contribution to perpetuating the memory of Russian and Soviet soldiers who died in China.
