  • Fresco.

Adobe introduced the future of creativity in the world online. This environment helps creative teams work together in real time with different platforms and project participants - on any device and anywhere.· Frame.io: Adobe recently acquired startup Frame.io, combining the capabilities of creative video editors Premiere Pro and After Effects with the functions of commenting and coordination on site Frame.io. This helps create a powerful collaboration environment that dramatically accelerates the creation of media content. Cloudy Frame.io platform is a convenient and safe tool for collecting feedback from everyone involved in video editing. It allows each team member to participate effectively in the creative process.

Photoshop web interfaces (on beta testing) and Illustrator (on closed beta testing): Open browsers interfaces in which millions of individual users, teams and project participants can view, distribute and comment on uploaded cloud documents. In doing so, Photoshop subscription members can use fast editing, retouching, and image correction capabilities, and Illustrator subscribers can use key design tools and editing workflows using features that run in the early access format.

Creative Cloud Spaces (on closed beta testing): a digital space created for teamwork. Creative Cloud Spaces simplifies decision making by combining everything you need in one place, including project files, libraries, and external links. This allows all team members to have full access to creative work from start to finish. The Spaces platform will be available on PC and mobile devices on the Creative Cloud Web, you can connect to it through Photoshop, Illustrator, Fresco and XD.

Creative Cloud Canvas (on closed beta testing): Canvas opens the next level of interaction, allowing teams to jointly plan, visualize and comment on creative work in real time exclusively through a browser. On this platform, teams can add forms, text, images, and stickers, as well as attach documents from Creative Cloud applications. This allows each project participant to make quick edits to the source file with one click through a suitable program.

In addition, with the fundamentally new Workfront plugin for Photoshop, creators can consider context when working together. On the Workfront update screen built into Photoshop, team members can track tasks and issues, and add and view project comments.

Adobe supports creators, allowing Creative Cloud subscribers to monetize their work using paid subscriptions on the Behance platform. At the same time, the authors fully control the distribution of content, and subscriptions are easily integrated into Behance projects and broadcasts, which allows creators to reserve any work for paid subscribers. Adobe does not set a commission in favor of the platform - authors receive 100% of the income from subscriptions.

Fighting inaccurate data: Content Authenticity Initiative Two years after the launch of the Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) program, Adobe offers millions of consumers its own content authorship technology. It became available in Photoshop with the introduction of the CAI-based Content Credits feature. Users can enable it in the format of voluntary acquaintance in order to attach to their images data on the origin of the content, including information about the author, history of changes, time and place of photography.

To ensure that creators are guaranteed rewards for their work, Adobe has connected the Content Credits feature to NFT marketplaces to further establish authorship. In addition, Adobe Stock automatically attaches Content Credits data to downloaded images.

All Creative Cloud subscribers (including those with tariff plans for individual users, students, teams, educational institutions, government agencies, and businesses) can install Creative Cloud updates for desktop software. In addition, updated mobile applications have become available worldwide. They can be downloaded to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

2015: Adobe updated Creative Cloud 2015

On June 17, 2015, Adobe introduced a major update to Creative Cloud services and tools.

As part of the Creative Cloud 2015 update, changes have been made to desktop applications:

  • Photoshop CC,
  • Illustrator CC,
  • Premiere Pro CC
  • InDesign CC;
  • mobile apps for iOS and Android.

The company announced the launch of an expanded version of Creative Cloud for business, which includes enterprise-class administration, security, collaboration services for creative brands, companies and large organizations.

Based on the Creative Cloud technology Adobe CreativeSync, it synchronizes all creative aspects:

  • files,
  • photos,
  • fonts,
  • vector graphics,
  • brushes,
  • colors,
  • settings and others.

With CreativeSync technology, these resources are always available in the right format, wherever you need them - on desktop or mobile applications, as well as on the Internet. Available only in Creative Cloud, CreativeSync technology helps stop work in any mobile or desktop application associated with Creative Cloud, then resume it in another program, and finish it in the CC desktop application that designers like.

As part of the Creative Cloud 2015 update, Adobe introduced improvements in 15 desktop applications:

  • Photoshop CC presents the Artboards mechanism, a way to create layouts for different devices and view them together;
  • Design Space, which organizes a special space for creating layouts tailored to the specific needs of designers.
  • Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC have new smoke tools that allow you to add and remove it in one click.
  • Premiere Pro CC introduces a new Lumetri Color panel that allows you to add color using intuitive sliders and other tools;
  • Morph Cut tool, which allows you to smooth out voice jumps when processing video.
  • After Effects CC received the Uninterrupted Preview feature, which allows you to make edits during video playback.
  • Adobe Character Animator literally "animates" 2D shapes using a webcam to track face movement and record dialogue, and also transfers real-time movements to a pre-configured character.
  • Illustrator CC is now 10 times faster and 10 times more accurate than CS6.
  • Dreamweaver CC has new web design capabilities that allow you to quickly create and place ready-made websites that adapt to any screen size.
  • Adobe Muse now includes permanent access to premium fonts from Typekit.

2014: Adobe Creative Cloud Update

On June 18, 2014, Adobe announced the continuation of innovation in Creative Cloud solutions and announced 14 new versions of CC desktop applications. The new version is aimed at workers in the creative industry.

Among the updates are the most important tools:

  • Adobe Photoshop CC,
  • Adobe Illustrator CC,
  • Adobe Dreamweaver CC
  • Adobe Premiere Pro CC.

The biggest upgrade ON Adobe since CS6 includes four new mobile applications, creative devices, Creative Cloud service updates, and new offerings for enterprise users, educational institutions, and photographers.

Mobile App Supplement

Adobe innovates in the use of mobile devices for creativity by releasing three new mobile applications for iPad - Adobe Sketch, Adobe Line and Adobe Photoshop Mix, begins selling new devices for creative work: Adobe Ink (a new digital pen) and Adobe Slide (a new digital line).

The new Adobe Creative SDK has been used in the development of mobile applications, through which Adobe's innovative developments can be used on mobile devices for the first time in more than 30 years. These new professional-class applications are easy to learn for any user, similar to the recently released Lightroom Mobile Photographer Solution and the new Adobe Voice application for working with animation and story creation updated as part of this version.

New Desktop Applications

In addition to innovations in mobile solutions, the 2014 Creative Cloud version includes additional features that accelerate and facilitate everyday tasks and provide new capabilities to support modern hardware and standards. Among the most important innovations in the 2014 desktop applications are:

  • New Photoshop CC features for photographers, such as motion effects using Blur Gallery to create a sense of motion, Focus Mask, making portrait shots with a small depth of sharpness more expressive, new content control capabilities, and the recently announced Perspective Warp feature to quickly change the perspective of a certain part of the image without affecting the rest of the image. Designers will like the enhanced performance of the improved Mercury graphics core, as well as the ability to link Smart Objects and share them in several documents. Improved layer compositions save time by changing the visibility, position, or appearance of one layer and synchronizing all other layers in the same way. In addition, Photoshop CC allows you to scale images using compression gestures, create smoother strokes, and is more responsive when working on touch devices running Windows 8, such as Microsoft Surface Pro 3.

  • New Illustrator CC features, also designed for designers, include Live Shapes to quickly convert rectangles to complex shapes and then return to the original rectangle with just a few clicks, as well as faster rendering of vector graphics with GPU acceleration in Windows using Adobe-certified NVIDIA graphics cards. In InDesign CC, foresters can now select rows and columns of tables and use a fixed EPUB layout that simplifies the creation of digital books. The Adobe Muse CC tool now includes support for 64-bit systems and HiDPI displays that increase the sharpness of images, objects and text, as well as the ability to view previews and optimize desktop and mobile versions of sites before they launch.

  • New video application features include dynamic text templates, masking, and tracking - new integration capabilities that allow Adobe After Effects CC to be used in Adobe Premiere Pro CC. Advanced graphics performance in Premiere Pro, new coding effects in After Effects, more flexible Direct Link Color Pipeline technology in Adobe SpeedGrade CC, and improved multi-track audio tracking in Adobe Audition CC significantly speed up project work. Integration between applications has also been improved to save time between Premiere Pro and After Effects or SpeedGrade.

  • Web tools now allow you to view markup in your document using the new Quick Item Viewer in Dreamweaver CC, which allows web developers to easily view and modify the HTML structure of pages and make it easier to navigate. CSS Designer enhancements help you apply and easily undo CSS properties such as gradients, shadows, and field boundaries. The SVG export feature in Flash Pro CC allows developers to export any frame of a Flash project as an SVG file, and native support for HTML video in Edge Animal CC provides direct import of videos sharpened under the HTML5 standard.

Availability of work materials and creative profile

New CC desktop solutions, mobile applications and hardware are tightly integrated with Creative Cloud services. This integration removes many limitations in the creative process: now, regardless of the user's location, he always has access to and control all elements of the creative profile (files, photos, colors, community, etc.). In addition, the new Creative Cloud for iPhone and iPad is introduced today, which provides access to and management of files, work materials and other resources from a mobile device.

Creative Cloud Offers to Enterprise Users

Adobe Creative Cloud for Workgroups and Corporations is a solution designed specifically for large-scale software deployment. It interacts with other Adobe enterprise solutions such as Adobe Marketing Cloud, Acrobat, Adobe Anywhere, and Adobe Digital Publishing Suite. The update includes additional services for collaboration and file storage, enhanced deployment capabilities, and a new dashboard for managing users and rights. For educational institutions, Adobe offers device-based licensing for classrooms and labs, which allows multiple users to access software on a single device instead of linking to one user using an Adobe ID. This capability is important for environments with a constant flow of students. For photographers, Adobe has introduced a special new Creative Cloud subscription plan for $9.99 per month.

Prices and purchase options

Updates to CC desktop solutions are available for download to Creative Cloud users as part of a subscription at no additional cost. New mobile apps are free for everyone. Customers who already own Adobe Creative Suite 3 or later can subscribe to Creative Cloud at special competitive prices. You can download a free trial of any of the new Creative Cloud desktop apps on the vendor's website.

2013

Adobe Creative Cloud in Russia

On March 4, 2013, Adobe Systems Incorporated announced the availability of Adobe Creative Cloud in Russia. Creative Cloud for Workgroups offers creative professionals many benefits in their work:

  • simplified interaction with colleagues;
  • New features for designing mobile sites with Adobe Muse
  • Creative Cloud Connection for desktop synchronization and data sharing
  • Creative Cloud Training - a library of first-class training videos prepared by leading partners and specialists;
  • Unlimited access to the digital publishing technology used by market-leading publishers to create interactive content for iPad devices.

Creative Cloud for working groups, designed to effectively organize the collaboration of representatives of creative professions. The workgroup version of Creative Cloud contains desktop tools, online services for publishing and sharing files, and updates to components and versions as they are released. It also offers simplified management of virtual workgroups, 100 GB of cloud storage per user, specialist support services, centralized administration for fast and easy deployment of new workspaces, centralized billing, and efficient license management.

Other new additions in Creative Cloud include the Adobe Muse upgrade, a desktop application that allows designers to create professional-level websites in HTML without having to write code. Adobe Muse provides unique layouts for desktop, iPhone, iPad, and other mobile versions of websites. Designers can now customize each aspect of interaction, both when viewing the site on a large monitor at the desktop, and when using a small screen on the go.

The Creative Cloud Connection for desktop synchronization allows users to automatically synchronize files with a Creative Cloud account when they are saved to a desktop folder or when they are dragged. In addition, the new unique Creative Cloud Training component (which will soon become available for all paid Creative Cloud subscriptions) offers an extensive library of training guides and trial versions of courses offered by famous training partners (Kelby Training, video2brain and Again) and contribute to the successful training of Creative Cloud members in working with accessible and accessible tools. These selected partners, along with Adobe, will offer training videos for Creative Cloud's international audience in English, Japanese, French, German, Spanish and Italian, with additional languages added later. Adobe Illustrator has been updated to support HiDPI displays (Retina).

Single edition of Digital Publishing

A single release of DPS significantly simplifies the process of developing mobile applications, allowing designers to create and publish digital materials on iPad devices using the Apple App Store, without specifying a single line of code. Thanks to the single release of the DPS package, service members can release single editions of content, including brochures, catalogs or portfolios of works with individual design, and send an unlimited number of applications to the Apple App Store for publication for free. As a result, freelance designers, design bureaus, and small and medium-sized companies gain unimpeded access to the same key digital publishing technologies used by leading publishers around the world.

Creative Cloud for Workgroups This new approach in Russia is presented for the first time by the Creative Cloud annual subscription for working groups. On the Adobe website, each user issues a free identifier (Adobe ID), to which the company's software license is associated. Next, the virtual team administrator connects the purchased workstations to the desired Adobe ID - and from that moment on, a specific user gets the opportunity to download and start using any programs in the Creative Cloud until the subscription ends or the administrator turns it off, for example, by transferring this workplace to another employee's Adobe ID.[1]

The subscription model involves always using the latest versions of Adobe products - the automatic software update system suggests installing the latest versions of programs immediately after they are released. At the same time, the process of installing software and updates can be controlled if desired: the administrator can create installation packages for Windows and Mac OS X or sets of updates that are compatible with standard SAM tools, such as Microsoft SCCM and Apple Remote Desktop.

The Adobe Creative Cloud subscription for workgroups will be useful primarily to midsize companies engaged in creative work - creativity. This is the strategic asset of the client company around which the business is formed. With the help of programs installed as part of the subscription, you can optimally create and distribute printed and interactive publications, websites and animations, and produce video materials. For a fixed annual cost, the service offers a complete list of products from the "creative" line of Adobe, which previously had to be bought separately or in the form of fixed sets of programs - Suite. In particular, the legendary Photoshop raster editor, Illustrator vector graphics editor, InDesign layout layout tool, Premiere Pro solutions, video effects creation (After Effects) and audio processing (Audition) are available. Users, as before, install all these products on each computer, and computers can be installed on their own work program and two programs. At the same time, products are not tied to the machine, but to Adobe ID - only simultaneous work under one identifier on different devices is prohibited. Thus, Creative Cloud includes the maximum set of professional products in which new features will constantly appear.

Additional Services

Creative Cloud subscribers also benefit from additional services to optimize their business. They first became available to Russian customers - previously Adobe did not offer ways to purchase them in Russia. One of the most valuable services is hosting Business Catalyst, designed to easily create and host commercial sites and online stores with payment processing, maintaining a database of products and customers, online analytics and marketing tools. For companies that would like to engage in the mobile market, Adobe offers two useful solutions: creating tablet applications for iPad using DPS Single Edition from layouts folded into InDesign, and PhoneGap Build to turn HTML sites into applications, and iOS Android other mobile platforms, as well as delivering web fonts for sites and mobile applications using TypeKit and Edge Web Fonts services.

Clean Cloud also adds a set of convenient and functional new solutions for collaborative creativity within working groups: the Lightroom photo and video cataloging and processing application and a new version of Acrobat XI for creating and editing PDF documents. Creative Cloud was chosen by Adobe as a model for launching new web development tools previously unavailable in Russia: Muse for the visual layout of sites and the Edge collection of applications and services (Animate, Reflow, Inspect, Web Fonts and others) to develop animation based on HTML5 standards/CSS3/, JavaScript the design of adaptive sites that adapt to different screen widths and many more.

Since the subscription is intended for teams, the key features for it are services with which you can organize effective work in a team with Internet access. In particular, workgroup users get the ability to cloud store and synchronize data on Adobe servers up to 100 GB per participant - this should be enough for the printing process, and even for the video project. Data is synchronized through a special folder on Windows and Mac OS X platforms, as well as through Adobe Photoshop Touch and Ideas tablet applications.

Members of the group can not only store their work materials in the cloud, but also share them with colleagues or show them through the web interface. During the year, Adobe plans to develop the functionality of the service by adding folder sharing - now you can only open access to specific files, both to colleagues in the group and any outside.

With the launch of Creative Cloud for workgroups, Adobe is taking an impressive step toward offering creative professionals an exhaustive set of content development tools, teamwork, and services that simplify the publishing of finished content online or as mobile applications, closing most of their customers' needs with a single offering. Time will tell what is behind the promises of constant updates from the company, but now we can say that the convenience of planning software budgets, centralized license management and deployment will gain the sympathy of IT publishers, advertising agencies and video channels, as happened with other companies that offered access to the software according to the annual subscription model.

Upgrading Adobe Creative Cloud

In May 2013, at the Adobe MAX conference in Los Angeles, Adobe announced an update to Adobe Creative Cloud. In June 2013, Adobe Creative Cloud will have new versions of desktop applications labeled "CC," a set of new features and flexibility to work on different devices, publish content and mobile applications. It will be possible to store and synchronize files and share works through Creative Cloud on Mac OS, Windows, iOS or Android; and through Behance, a creative online community integrated with Creative Cloud so that users can showcase and discuss their work with audiences around the world.

Among the main new opportunities are the following:

  • Access work materials from your desktop, tablet, phone, or browser. Creative Cloud allows you to stay in touch with colleagues and the creative community through a working computer, browser or mobile device. With Creative Cloud, your entire creative world gets a place of registration, where ideas, materials, fonts, settings, notifications and a team of colleagues are fully synchronized with each other. Use shared folders in the cloud to collaborate on a single project; Track changes and comments to shared files Publish on Behance without interrupting; Be notified of new versions of applications as soon as they are available for installation. use your favorite color palettes, fonts, and settings wherever you are.
  • Integration with creative social networks. With the advent of Behance integration into Creative Cloud, subscribers will be able to publish their portfolios, monitor the work of colleagues, publish unfinished projects during the course of work from an increasing number of applications and receive feedback from members of the Behance creative community with more than 1.4 million users worldwide.
  • Synchronize, store, and collaborate. All files and work materials are automatically synchronized between the user's work computers, cloud storage, and mobile devices. The designer can take a photo on the iPad, use Photoshop Touch to process the picture "on the go," load it into the cloud and later return to its refinement in the desktop version of Photoshop as part of Creative Cloud. Subscribers can assign shared folders and invite other users to collaborate on files in them. All revisions are saved so that users can share their files with confidence. Individual users receive 20 GB of disk storage; Creative Cloud subscribers for workgroups - 100 GB per user.
  • Publishing without borders. Creative Cloud users access the services required to publish personalized sites - Behance ProSite, digital publications for iPad - Digital Publishing Suite Single Edition and create mobile applications for any devices - PhoneGap™ Build. Adobe Typekit offers an unrivaled font library: from old classics to new and already loved ones. The updated service and applications will allow you to apply fonts to both websites and desktop applications.

Adobe announced that the company is focusing all software development efforts on Creative Cloud. While Adobe Creative Suite 6 products will still be available for purchase, the company has no further plans to develop the Creative Suite or other CS products. Focusing on the development of Creative Cloud will not only enable Adobe engineers to focus on the most innovative developments, but will also expand the range of technologies that the company can provide for the creative community.

The updated Creative Cloud includes the next generation of Adobe desktop applications: Photoshop CC, InDesign CC, Illustrator CC, Dreamweaver CC, Premiere Pro CC, etc. Adobe's suite of desktop tools, formerly known as Creative Suite, has now acquired the brand name Creative Cloud. Adobe Creative Cloud includes more than 30 applications and services that allow you to professionally create content and display it in printed materials, the Internet, in the form of mobile applications, videos and photos.

Photoshop Creative Cloud is Adobe's first desktop application with the ability to directly place files on Behance directly from the application, which allows you to not only demonstrate work in the process, but also immediately improve the material based on feedback from friends and colleagues.
  • Among the novelties for designers, the new Touch Type tool in Illustrator Creative Cloud with touch input support offers a new level of interaction with font and text - moving, scaling and rotating individual characters in a word with complete preservation of text editability. This feature is controlled by a mouse, stylus, or touch devices. Illustrator now allows you to also use photo images in brushes.
