Sellty is a cloud platform for self-launching a wholesale online store in a few hours.

2024: Add Related Item Recommendation Feature

On the platform for launching the B2B online store Sellty, the function of recommending related products has become available. Collections are formed using artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. Wholesalers received a tool that was previously only available in the B2C segment. Sellty (Celty) announced this on January 31, 2024.

cloud service With Sellty, wholesalers can deploy an online storefront in just a couple of hours and launch - Internet sales. The system is developing rapidly, and in 2023, thanks to a development grant, the Innovation Assistance Fund (FSI) introduction of a recommendation model based on the service began. In AI January 2024, Sellty announced the completion of the first phase of the project. Now users of the service, regardless of the scale of the business and the current volume of sales, will be able to offer customers related products and make additional sales.

You can initially set up a bundled item collection from the Administrator panel. To do this, you need to add product cards to the Sellty control panel, as well as synchronize them with other product items. Further, a data model based on artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies will be able to independently analyze the specified recommendations and modify the selection of goods depending on the preferences of a particular buyer. This will help the business increase the average check, as well as increase conversion to purchases.

Sellty notes that personalized recommendations of related products have great commercial potential. This is an important part of the sales funnel, which has long become familiar in the B2C segment, but has just begun to penetrate the B2B segment. The need for this functionality has already been formed by most companies specializing in corporate sales. The FSI grant made it possible to quickly begin this task.

On average, the project for the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies in a commercial company starts at 10 million rubles. Such a budget is not available for most players from the medium and small business segments. Sellty is a platform that enables business customers of all sizes to bring technology to wholesale at no significant cost. Only the subscription is paid. We are grateful that the FSI appreciated the potential of our service and supported us in developing a product that makes an evolutionary leap in the B2B sales market, "said Maria Bar-Biryukova, founder of Sellty.

Add functionality for working with marketplaces

The platform for the quick creation of the B2B online store Sellty has added functionality for working with marketplaces. Now, when connected to the platform, users will be able not only to deploy the B2B portal, but also to configure integrations with popular B2B sites. Moreover, all this is in a matter of hours, without capital expenditures and attracting a staff of programmers. This opportunity will allow Russian companies to simultaneously attract new customers and scale the business. Sellty (Celty) announced this on December 12, 2023.

The launch of the B2B portal is one of the easiest and most understandable ways to start automating B2B sales. Using this tool, the company can increase the customer check by up to 20%, remove routine tasks from sales managers and offer customers a personalized service. However, the target audience of the B2B portal is mainly current customers. To scale your business and start attracting more new buyers, you need to go to marketplaces.

Working with marketplaces in manual mode is not an easy task. So, to access each new site, the company needs at least one manager who will upload goods to the showcase, monitor the availability of products, provide personal communication with customers, and also drive data into the accounting system. The task becomes extremely resource-intensive if the business works with a large range of goods and plans to be present at several sites at once. To simplify this process, Sellty decided to automate work with marketplaces.

Now, when connected to the platform, users will be able to configure integrations with popular B2B-Marketplaces in a few clicks. As soon as the interaction is established, a storefront of goods can be launched on each of the sites. The description of the product units and their balances in this case will be automatically unloaded from the accounting system, and orders will be received in it. Thus, with the help of Sellty, you can go to two sales channels at once: launch the B2B portal and start selling products on marketplaces.

File:Aquote1.png
When choosing distribution channels, businesses often have to choose between the B2B portal and sales on marketplaces, since the development of several sales channels at once requires significant monetary and temporary investments. However, each of these channels is suitable for their tasks, and working with only one platform, the business misses out on potential benefits. With the help of our product, you can avoid this dilemma and, according to the principle of a single window, launch two full-fledged online sales channels at once at the price of one tool. At the same time, each of them can be used independently of each other. If the company is only eyeing B2B portals, but is already actively exploring the corporate sales segment, the platform will automate the current work with marketplaces, said Maria Bar-Biryukova, founder of Sellty.

Ability to manage goods balances in multiple warehouses at once

Sellty has updated its B2B automation platform. Now users of the system will be able to manage the balances of goods in several warehouses at once. In addition, a large number of opportunities were given to the functionality of price groups, which allows you to flexibly build individual price relations with counterparties, as well as the automatic exchange of these data in the form of individual agreements with 1C. The developer announced this on October 26, 2023.

Several key updates are available in the updated version of the product. First of all, the developer added multisclade functionality to the platform. Now companies will be able to display to customers up-to-date information about the availability of products in each specific warehouse - even if there are tens or hundreds of them in different regions of the country.

The buyer will be able to see the full picture of the balances, choose a convenient point for delivery or pickup, or order goods from several warehouses at once. Also, the client will receive additional transparency in information about the availability of goods in specific warehouses or regions. Data on the availability of goods in different warehouses is updated automatically through the integration of the platform with the accounting system based on "1C" - "1C: ERP Enterprise Management," "1C: Trade Management," "1C: Our Enterprise Management" or "1C: Integrated automation."

In addition, the updated version of Sellty has the ability to automatically manage individual price agreements with counterparties. As a rule, price relationships, including discounts and promotions for each specific customer, are recorded in the seller's account system. Previously, in order to correctly form orders and issue invoices with individual prices through the B2B portal, company employees had to manually transfer this data from 1C. Now this happens in automatic mode.

Managers can change the price of an item, a group or category of items, or items with a single characteristic. The updated functionality allows you to flexibly configure and cross many conditions to reproduce really special offers for your counterparties. You no longer need to manually double-check the prices set - all price agreements are displayed in your personal account on the B2B portal.

This Sellty release also includes over 50 other micro-improvements. Among them - the ability to open an online store only for authorized counterparties, the ability to add several legal entities to one counterparty card, improved UI in the administration panel and many others.

File:Aquote1.png
We constantly conduct castdevs and improve our product, striving to offer the business really useful tools for automated online sales management in B2B. All operations in Sellty are organized according to the principle of one window - this allows businesses and buyers to work in a single information space and interact more efficiently with each other. With the implementation of the platform, the routine load on sales managers is reduced, and the number of errors in ordering is reduced by half. As a result, B2B customers receive the necessary goods faster, and business increases the quality and speed of their service. We will continue to develop the platform and complement it with in-demand features, "said Maria Bar-Biryukova, founder of Sellty.

Integration with 1C products

Automation platform B2B- sales Sellty integrated with 1C"." The expansion helps to seamlessly exchange data goods trade about and offers, as well as information orders between Sellty and. accounting system In addition, an automated exchange is set up: documents accounts and UPD, data on counterparties, as well as individual price agreements with them. Representatives of Sellty told about this on August 21, 2023.

The Sellty extension is installed on top of the 1C client, and for this you do not need to involve developers - the process takes several minutes even for users without advanced programming skills . The extension works with products such as "1C: ERP Enterprise Management," "1C: Trade Management," "1C: Our Enterprise Management," "1C: Integrated Automation" - for each of the configurations, the Sellty team created test stands and tested the system.

After installing the program, the customer has all the necessary functionality for automatic management of B2B sales: an online store window, the ability to make changes to orders and exchange their statuses, as well as the functionality of exchanging documents. In addition, after installing the Sellty extension, automatic exchange of information about counterparties and individual agreements with them becomes available - data about them is loaded from "1C" to Sellty in a few clicks.

All this significantly reduces the burden on sales managers. So, thanks to the automation of the exchange of documents, the employee no longer needs to form account and APD files in "1C," download them, send them manually through mail, and if at one of the stages there was a failure or error, start the process again.

The transfer of information is configured on the 1C user side. He independently selects the data to be sent. The platform only gets access to the information that is approved by the user.

File:Aquote1.png
The basic functionality of "1C" is designed for B2C sales - it allows you to upload information about goods to the site and take orders back to the account system. This is not enough for B2B. Changes may occur right in the process of concluding a deal: the store manager will sell something, make clarifications on prices, conditions for working with the client, the number of goods. Thanks to Sellty, the manager can manage all changes on order directly in 1C, without the need to duplicate information to another system or client by mail. The client will see all the updated information in his personal account,
commented Kristina Barzakovskaya, Sellty's product director.

File:Aquote1.png
Setting up additional functionality for managing B2B sales in 1C from scratch can take several months and cost customers millions of rubles. The Sellty extension can be installed in 15 minutes without involving 1C developers - and immediately start exchanging data between systems. You don't need to pay for anything additionally - the extension is included in the base package of the platform. After configuring the extension, you can continue to work in "1C" as you are used to - the Sellty functionality becomes available directly from the accounting system,
added Evgeny Losev, CTO of Sellty.
