Based on a satellite for collecting data on the impact of the space environment on vehicles and stations

Kuzbass State Technical University and the space company SPUTPS (part of the Sitronics Group) have developed and assembled a satellite, the task of which will be to collect data on the impact of the space environment on vehicles and stations. The launch will take place in May 2023 as part of the Space-Pi scientific and educational federal project. The company "Satellites" announced this on February 13, 2023. The spacecraft was assembled on the basis of the OrbiCraft-Pro platform, developed by SPUTPS engineers. Read more here.

At the heart of the satellite "Svyatobor-1"

Nanosatellite "Svyatobor-1" assembled and ready for pre-launch tests. The nanosatellite was created on the OrbiCraft-Pro platform of the company SPUTPS"" (part of the Sitronics Group) and is designed to track forest fires and other natural disasters primarily in the territory. The RUSSIAN FEDERATION company Sitronics announced this on January 11, 2022. More. here

Demonstration "OrbyKraft-Zorky"

SPUTPS"" satellite demonstrated "OrbyKraft-Zorky," designed for remote sensing of the Earth (DZZ). The company Sitronics announced this on June 16, 2022.

The experimental satellite "OrbiKraft-Zorky" was launched into orbit on March 22, 2021, passed all the necessary checks and is normally operated for June 2022. The spacecraft was created on the basis of the OrbyKraft-Pro platform developed by SPUTPS in the CubeSat 6U format. The satellite weighing only 8.5 kg is equipped with a DZZ camera with a resolution of 6.5 meters. The device was created and was sent into orbit with grant support from the Innovation Assistance Fund.

This satellite is a clear example of an effective combination of high technology, miniaturization and cost of creation. "OrbiKraft-Zorky" demonstrated the possibility of obtaining using Russian ultra-small satellites images of remote sensing of the Earth, demanded by various sectors of the economy, "said Nikolai Pozhidaev, President of Sitronics Group.

This set can also be used to deploy multi-satellite groups with other important purposes. For example, to ensure the operation of automatic identification systems in civil aviation (ADS-B) and shipping (AIS), including for monitoring traffic as in the Arctic zone, as well as for receiving data from Internet of Things sensors from those territories where there is no mobile network coverage, - said Vladislav Ivanenko, General Director of SPUTPS LLC.

Start of mass production

Mass production of the first CubeSat microsatellites in Russia has begun. We are talking about small OrbiCraft-Pro spacecraft measuring from 1U to 12U weighing from 1 to 24 kg, developed by Sputnik.

The first in the Russian Federation section of serial assembly of satellite platforms CubeSat was launched in the Skolkovo technopark. These capacities are divided into several zones, each of which has a certain air purity depending on the tasks. By December 16, 2021, the process of assembling and testing satellites is underway there, the launch of which is expected in 2022.

The company "Satellites" launched the first section of serial assembly of small satellite platforms in the Russian Federation

According to the press service of Sitronics Group (this group includes "Satellite"), within the framework of the project, the concept of maximum localization of assembly and testing of products was implemented. It allows you to reduce the number of movements of the product and ensure its presence in the "clean zone," that is, in the room in which the concentration of aerosol particles is minimized. The site is designed taking into account the requirements for ensuring the cleanliness class of the room, imposed in the electronic industry.

It is noted that earlier the company carried out piece assembly of satellite platforms. The capacity of the new section is about 30 sets of spacecraft per year, this ensures the implementation of the company's existing and concluded contracts for 2022-2024.

It is planned to further expand the production of CubeSat satellites, which will ensure Sitronics Group's plans to launch small spacecraft in the coming years to develop various services based on satellite data, including for the operation of automatic identification systems in shipping, monitoring and transmission of telemetry, remote sensing of the Earth, - said the President of Sitronics Group Nikolai Pozhidaev through the press service of the company.[1]

OrbiCraft-Pro SXC6

According to information for October 2021, the ultra-compact Earth remote sensing satellite OrbiCraft-Pro SXC6 has a compact 6U form factor (10x20x30 cm) and a mass of only 8.5 kg. At the same time, the device carries an experimental remote sensing camera for the Earth with a high resolution - up to 6 meters per pixel.

The OrbiCraft-Pro nanosatellite platform can be used as a laboratory layout in the educational field and applied for scientific purposes in near-earth orbits.
