Launch Stock Gift Service

On December 28, 2021, Tinkoff announced the launch of an online securities gift service. It is available on the Tinkoff Investments platform.

According to the Tinkoff press service, you can give any financial instruments available to unskilled investors whose acquisition does not require testing (stocks, bonds, shares of exchange-traded funds). At the same time, you do not need to sign paper documents and visit the broker's office.

Tinkoff announced the launch of an online securities gift service

To make a gift, you need to click the "Give" button on the security page, specify the number of papers and select the recipient of the gift. The addressee will receive an SMS message or notification in the Tinkoff Investment application. If the recipient of the gift is not a Tinkoff client, a gift notification will be sent to him, as well as a link with a request to open a brokerage account and a debit card.

You can give shares at any time, regardless of the schedule of the exchange. When buying shares as a gift on a day off, settlements are made based on the closing price of the previous trading day. The recipient may refuse the gift. In this case, the funds spent on the purchase of shares are returned to the donor's account.

Tinkoff claims that the company was the first among Russian brokers to realize the opportunity to issue securities as a gift.

File:Aquote1.png
Instead of a thing that may not be useful to the addressee of the gift, you can buy, for example, shares of its manufacturer or a stake in any other company. So you will make a person its co-owner - be it "Children's World," Apple or Harley-Davidson. Most things lose their relevance over time and fall in price - unlike securities, the value of which can increase, "said Dmitry Tarasov, head of the Tinkoff Investments investment services development and promotion department.

According to him, by the end of 2021, more than 10 thousand investment tools are available on the platform.[1]

Create a screener for automatic stock search

In the brokerage platform Tinkoff Investments, a stock screener has appeared, with the help of which it will be possible to automatically select securities according to selected criteria - for example, to find undervalued and promising companies, etc. This was announced on August 11, 2020. Tinkoff Bank

Create a screener for automatic stock search

The tool will help experienced investors quickly form a portfolio at their individual request, and beginners - to choose shares for the first purchases, taking into account investment risks.

Novice investors will be able to subscribe to ready-made screeners created by Tinkoff Investments analysts. Finished screeners take into account fundamentals - for example, the cost of a company or the profit of a company before deducting expenses. Skiners will also be created on the basis of popular user requests - for example, "dividend companies," "companies with fast-growing profits," "dividends this week," "high growth potential." As soon as the company shares begin to match the query filters, they are immediately displayed in the finished screenshots.

For novice investors, the screener will become a mini-library in which it will be possible to study the significance of various indicators, understand how they affect the dynamics of the value of shares, and learn to assess investment risks.

Create a screener for automatic stock search

Customers with experience in investing can create their own screeners both on the basis of ready-made and specifically for their individual tasks - for example, to find shares according to the parameters they need for their portfolios.

As of August 11, 2020, the client can form a request for a screener using more than 30 filters, such as: search by date, dividend, capitalization, EPS, trading volume, consensus. In the future, the number of criteria may increase depending on user requests.

The issue of shares on request can be set up by a list or table in which other company indicators will be displayed - this will allow the investor to obtain full information about the company to assess all the risks of buying its shares.

An individual screener, as well as a finished screener, can be saved in an application to view stock updates at a convenient time. Soon, customers will have the opportunity to share their screener on the social network for investors "Pulse," where other users will be able to watch it and save it in their application.

Screener is available to all Tinkoff Investment users in the "What to buy?" section.

Kirill Komarov, Head of Investment Consulting Tinkoff Investments:

In our application for August 2020, more than 10 thousand securities are presented, it can be difficult for a beginner to navigate. Skriner will make the process of choosing shares easier, while teaching users to pay attention not only to the dynamics of the value of the share, but also to the financial performance of the company, which means that it will allow a much more effective assessment of investment risks. The tool will help experienced investors quickly, without leaving the application, find the right products, while guaranteeing the correctness and relevance of the data. All this will make the investment process even simpler and more comfortable. In the future, we plan to create screeners not only for stocks, but also for other products - bonds and securities of foreign investment funds.

Start remote opening of brokerage accounts

On April 29, 2020, Tinkoff Bank announced that the Tinkoff Investments service launched a remote opening of brokerage and individual investment accounts (IIS) for customers of any Russian banks using the federal service for remote identification of state services SMEV (Interagency Electronic Interaction System).

To remotely open an account, you need:

  • download the mobile application Tinkoff Investments or go to the Tinkoff.ru ("Investments "/" Open a brokerage account");
  • Apply for a brokerage account or IIS by completing a short questionnaire. You must specify only the name, date of birth, series/passport number and address of actual residence;
  • sign the application-questionnaire code from SMS.

After opening a brokerage account, the user can enter the Tinkoff Investments mobile application or personal account on the Tinkoff.ru, replenish the brokerage account for free from the card of any Russian bank and start trading on the exchange (the withdrawal will be available only on the Tinkoff card).

After the opening of the brokerage account, all the functions of the platform are available to the new Tinkoff Investment client - he can view the catalog of securities and quotes, register on the social network for Pulse traders and start communicating with subscribers, read a news feed on companies, collect an investment portfolio using a robo-observer, etc.

If desired, the client can set up a meeting with a representative of Tinkoff to issue a Tinkoff Black card, bring money into her account and carry out transactions with her in Tinkoff Investments.

File:Aquote1.png
We want to meet the challenges of time and have launched an account opening service for customers in a completely remote mode. This is especially true when customers are in self-isolation. Thanks to instant identification of data through State Services, customers will have simple, convenient and fastest access to trading on the exchange, as well as an easy way to learn how to invest using our platform, "comments Dmitry Panchenko, director of the investment business Tinkoff.
File:Aquote2.png

Customers of Tinkoff Investments, which will open a brokerage account in Tinkoff from March 20 to June 1, 2020 inclusive, can also receive a share of a large company worth up to 20,000 rubles as a gift. Such companies include Intel, Gazprom, Nokia, Polymetal, General Electric, Detsky Mir, Pfizer, X5 Retail, Sberbank, etc. You can sell a gift share by buying other securities (except currency) in the amount of 15,000 rubles. You can also keep a gift share in your investment portfolio (3 months from the date of the gift accrual) and sell it not immediately, but later - for example, when it grows in price.

Access to the purchase of ruble bonds in the primary market

Tinkoff Investments opened access to the purchase of ruble bonds in the primary securities market for all users of the brokerage platform. Previously, such an opportunity was only available to investors at the Premium tariff. This was announced on February 25, 2020 by Tinkoff Bank.

The advantages of buying bonds in the primary market are the maximum rate at the time of placement of the asset and the nominal price.

In the secondary market, the yield on securities may be lower and the value higher.

You can leave an application for the purchase of bonds in the Tinkoff Investments mobile application (in the future it will appear on the Tinkoff.ru). To do this, go to the "What to buy "/" Current" section and click on a special widget marked "Initial placement." A page with information about the placement of paper will open to the client: a description of the company, a deadline for participating in the placement, a range of coupon rates, a period of coupon payments and other details necessary for making an investment decision.

Access to the purchase of ruble bonds in the primary market

The coupon income rate is indicative: if the demand for bonds is high, then the placement organizers, together with the issuer (the company placing the bonds), can announce its decrease. Such a decision can be made only on a previously agreed date - on the day the application book is formed.

The entry threshold for participation in the initial offering of bonds in Tinkoff Investments is only 1,000 rubles. This is the minimum purchase amount for such an instrument and corresponds to the face value of the bond.

File:Aquote1.png
We not only open another investment tool for all our customers, but also make this process as transparent and simple as possible. By sending notices of changes in the yield of the paper, we give investors the opportunity to make an informed decision and cancel the application if necessary. We tested this tool at a premium tariff and saw huge interest in it: in 2019, customers took part in almost two dozen placements of ruble bonds. And just two days after the launch of the service for all customers, we immediately received more than 5,000 applications for participation in the initial bond offering. According to our forecasts, interest in upcoming placements will only grow,
commented by Kirill Fateev, Head of Investment Product Development Department Tinkoff
File:Aquote2.png

Buying a corporate bond means that the investor lends money to the company, and then earns on interest. Participation in the initial offering of bonds is suitable for conservative investors who invest for a long time. These can be both experienced investors who are ready to make a purchase for a large amount, and newcomers to the exchange who can invest a minimum amount in this investment tool and test the result. In the future, when selling a bond on the exchange, the investor will receive not only the value of the bond, but also the accumulated coupon income (NPC).

2019

Launch the Tips service

On October 17, 2019, Tinkoff Bank announced that investment recommendations appeared in the Tinkoff Investments brokerage platform - the Soviets service to optimize the investment portfolio, which will help users use visual diagrams and recommendations to diversify their investment portfolio into different asset classes and industries.

Unlike the robo-observer Tinkoff Investments, which helps to assemble an investment portfolio from scratch, the Soviets service analyzes existing assets in the client's portfolio. The better the investor's portfolio is balanced, the less its profitability will depend on the behavior of a particular industry and on the type of securities, and accordingly the client's risks will become lower.

The Soviets service is accredited by the National Association of Stock Market Participants (NAUFOR) - thanks to this, Tinkoff Investments can give recommendations to the Soviets on the sale or purchase of certain securities.

To start using the "Tips," you need to go to the Tinkoff.ru in the section "Portfolio "/" About account "/" Analytics" or in the mobile application Tinkoff Investments in the section "Portfolio analytics." You can then select options for portfolio valuation (Assets and Industries tabs) and learn your investment risk profile (moderate, conservative, or aggressive) by taking a short test.

Based on these data, a special algorithm will help the user assess the balance of his portfolio. For example, in the Assets tab, the customer will be able to see the valuation of their investments on a ten-point scale and make further investment decisions based on this.

The green color of the scale means a good balance of the portfolio. If the scale turns out to be red or orange, a clue will appear in which assets and industries should be invested in order to balance the risks. For example, if a portfolio consists only of shares, then the algorithm will advise him to buy less risky bonds. At the same time, even the "green" portfolio can always be improved by buying the recommended papers.

Tinkoff Investments opened 1 million accounts

As of the fall of 2019 (according to the company itself), the Tinkoff brokerage service is the leader in the number of active customers on the St. Petersburg Exchange and takes 1st place in the number of registered customers, in total turnover in all trading modes, as well as in client turnover in the main trading mode. According to the results of August 2019, Tinkoff Investments ranks second in the number of active customers on the Moscow Exchange among all players in the Russian stock market, and are also among the top three in the number of open IIS (more than 80 thousand).

In 2018, the Tinkoff brokerage platform attracted the most private investors to the Moscow Exchange - over 285,000 people. This year, Tinkoff Investments strengthened leadership: in just 8 months of 2019, the service attracted more than 400,000 new retail investors to the Moscow Exchange. Every third account on the Moscow Exchange opens today precisely through the Tinkoff brokerage platform.

The Tinkoff Investments mobile application has already been installed about 3 million times. Since the beginning of 2019, the number of active users of the mobile application has grown to 256,000 people, per day - to 80,000 people.

Over the past year, the owners of a brokerage account in Tinkoff Investments also increased the size of one operation: earlier the transaction cost was about 39,000 rubles, now - about 90,000 rubles. Most Tinkoff Investment clients continue to adhere to the conservative "buy & hold" strategy, that is, they do not trade on the exchange often and much, but form a long-term investment portfolio.

File:Aquote1.png
"In March 2018, Tinkoff received a license from a professional participant in the securities market and in May 2018 we announced a large-scale restart of Tinkoff Investments: we began to open all new accounts independently, without intermediaries (BCS). At the end of the year, our customers will be able to buy their own Tinkoff exchange funds through the management company Tinkoff Capital, "comments Emeshev Alexander, vice president, director of new products Tinkoff.

Launch of an open social network in the mobile application "Tinkoff Investments"

On September 3, 2019, Tinkoff Bank announced the launch of Pulse, a free open social network for investors in the Tinkoff Investments mobile application.

Launch of an open social network in the mobile application "Tinkoff Investments"

Pulse will become a convenient and technological platform where users can get acquainted with real bidders on the exchange, subscribe to investors with similar or opposite investment strategies, exchange ideas and trading experience on the stock market, as well as life hacks to work with the Tinkoff brokerage platform. To start working with social networks, you need to update the Tinkoff Investment mobile application to version 4.0 and register on the profile page: set a nickname (a fictional name for maintaining anonymity), upload a photo, add a profile description, indicate interesting topics for communication. After that, Tinkoff will offer the user a list of recommended profiles.

As of September 2019, Pulse is at the beta testing stage, all Tinkoff Investment customers will have access to the social network within the next week: first on Android devices, later for iOS users. In the future, the service will become available on the Tinkoff.ru.

Launch AI Research Engine Service

July 8, 2019 Tinkoff Investments announced the launch of the AI Research Engine service based on artificial intelligence. Technology helps investors monitor the financial performance of their assets and respond in a timely manner to their changes.

[[:Шаблон:Quote 'author '= commented by Alexander Emeshev, Vice President, Director of New Product Development Tinkoff. ']]

The AI Research Engine service takes into account many criteria when analyzing securities: growth potential, analyst forecasts, dividend yield, share liquidity, risk parameters, company reporting indicators, positions of large investment funds, etc. Based on the processed data, the Tinkoff Investment algorithm generates an adapted analytical help for the user, which also contains information about companies with similar business. Among them, an investor can choose more attractive assets for himself.

AI Research Engine

Assets with which certain events occurred are marked in the catalog of the Tinkoff Investment application with a special badge. Clicking on the marked paper, the client will get to the page with a brief analytical note on it.

AI Research Engine

AI Research Engine will be an important addition to the functionality that is already available to users inside the catalog (fundamental and technical indicators, reporting indicators and key news for the company). As of July 2019, the service operates in the Tinkoff Investment mobile application on Android devices, in a few days it will be available to iOS users.

The Tinkoff Investment service does not give personal investment recommendations, but is an information and analytical service that provides customers with additional data for making investment decisions.

Margin Trading Service

On June 18, 2019, Tinkoff Bank announced that a margin trading service had appeared in Tinkoff Investments. With its help, users of tariffs "Trader" and "Premium," who have a brokerage account or IIS in Tinkoff, can make transactions with liquid securities secured by funds or assets in the portfolio. Margin trading will allow customers to increase the volume of transactions and increase their profitability.

Tinkoff Investments

According to the company, you can make margin transactions in Tinkoff Investments not only with Russian shares and rubles, but also with foreign securities, US dollars/euros. As of June 2019, in the list of liquid Tinkoff instruments (with a risk rate of less than 100%) - about 50 securities, their number will grow. The more liquid assets in the client's portfolio, the more amount he can get for a margin transaction. The limit on the margin funds raised by the client is set not only depending on what papers he wants to buy, but also on his current investment portfolio.

You can manage margin transactions directly in the Tinkoff Investment mobile application and on the Tinkoff.ru website (About Account section), including through the web terminal. The liquidity of the portfolio and the size of the margin position can be checked directly on the smartphone in a few clicks.

It will be possible to replenish the brokerage account and IIS instantly at any time of the day from the Tinkoff debit card. Thanks to this, customers of the service will always be able to make a deal on the most favorable conditions for themselves at the right time, including in the event of a margin call (warnings about lack of funds to secure collateral).

The commission for margin transactions in Tinkoff Investments will be fixed for an uncovered position during the day for all instruments: securities,, rubles, dollars USA euros. It will be charged at the end of the trading day and debited from the brokerage account rubles in according to the current tariff. The size of the commission will be calculated from the size of the position, that is, from the amount of the loan: the larger it is, the lower the rate will be. Therefore, when opening a margin position (purchase of assets in debt), the user will always be able to understand what commission he will pay when it is transferred to the next day.

Tinkoff Investment users will also be able to see when making a transaction exactly what amount will be debited from the account at once for all items. It does not need to be considered independently - the mechanism for writing off commissions is as simple as possible. In case of a margin call, the client will receive a push notification.

As of June 2019, you can make a margin transaction in Tinkoff Investments in the following way: buy securities or currency with money that the client currently does not have the necessary amount (long position). For example, a client has 100 thousand rubles on a brokerage account, he can buy 200 thousand rubles in a margin transaction with a shoulder. When these shares grow by 10%, the client will be able to sell them for 220 thousand rubles, pay off the debt and receive 120 thousand rubles on the account - that is, he will earn twice as much as he could get without a "margin shoulder." In the near future, Tinkoff's customers in the framework of margin trading will be able not only to buy assets, but also to sell them (short position - short).

File:Aquote1.png
Transactions using the "margin shoulder" are popular with investors, since they can bring income higher than using only their own funds.

said Alexander Emeshev, vice president, director of new product development at Tinkoff Bank
File:Aquote2.png

Users of the Tinkoff brokerage platform will be able to turn off the margin trading option at any time in the Tinkoff Investment mobile application or on the Tinkoff.ru if the balance of the brokerage account is positive (without uncovered positions).

Availability of tech profiles, stop loss and portfolio analytics

On March 18, 2019, Tinkoff Bank announced a large-scale update of the Tinkoff Investment brokerage platform and the launch of a number of functions and opportunities for service customers.

Tinkoff Platform Updates Investments

According to the company, during the week Tinkoff Investments users will be available:

  • Stop losses and teak profiles
  • Multiple values for paper price
  • Robo-Observer with Investment Profiling
  • Portfolio Analytics
  • Exchange glass for Trader and Premium rates
  • Web Terminal for Trader and Premium Rates
  • OTC Limit Requests for Premium Tariff
  • Vedomosti materials for premium customers

Stop loss (stoploss) allows you to limit possible losses when managing an investment portfolio. Using stop-loss, the customer creates an order (acceptable level of asset value, below the current price) for automatic sale of securities in case of unfavorable price dynamics on the exchange. Takeprofit, on the contrary, makes it possible to sell assets with a favorable change in prices (above the current value of the paper) and helps to record the profit from the price set by the client.

Stop loss and teak profiles allow you to protect yourself from the volatility of the exchange market and allow you to complete the transaction automatically. When the price of the paper reaches the level set by the client, a push notification arrives to the Tinkoff Investment user.

When closing the position (sale of paper), the service will automatically cancel all stop loss and teak profiles issued for this asset (they will not be necessary if the shares are already sold), so the client will not need to remove them manually. It will be impossible to buy paper on credit by chance and get a negative balance on the account, as happens at other brokerage sites. Stop loss and key profiles are available to the owners of all Tinkoff Investments service rates.

Tinkoff Investment users can set several values (prices) at once to receive push notifications when the paper reaches the desired price. So it will be easier for customers to control the range of prices on the exchange. To do this, click the button with the image of the bell in the upper right corner of the Tinkoff Investment mobile application.

Users also have the opportunity to determine their investment profile (attitude to risk) directly in the Tinkoff Investment mobile application: moderate, conservative or aggressive. To do this, the client needs to fill out a short questionnaire with simple questions about the experience of working on the exchange, the allowable amount for investing, popular tools for trading, etc. Specifically for the investment profile of the user, it will be possible to make a diversified portfolio of securities, for example, with the help of a robo-observer. In addition, those that do not fit the investment profile of the client will be noted in the catalog of securities: an icon with a red palm will be located opposite such assets, while they will be available for purchase, like other securities.

In Tinkoff Investments, the "Analytics" section appeared, where users of the service can see graphs by types of assets (stocks, bonds, ETFs), by industries and companies, statistics on the profitability and value of the investment portfolio. Here, users will be able to clearly see what securities his portfolio consists of and how diversified these assets are.

The owners of tariffs "Trader" and "Premium" became available tab "Glass" for each individual paper. Exchange glass is a list of limit bids on the exchange market at the moment. Sales orders are highlighted in red, for purchase - in green. The exchange glass will allow customers to see the queue of applications and evaluate their liquidity. The data in the glass is updated in real time. Moreover, Tinkoff customers will be able to submit a limit application directly from the exchange glass.

A limit application is issued when the client wants to buy or sell shares at the price he needs. So, the user of the Tinkoff Investments service can be sure that he will buy paper not more expensive than the cost that he indicated in the application. On the exchange, a queue is formed from such bids. The better the price (for the opposite side), the closer the customer request is placed to the beginning of the queue and the sooner it will be executed.

From March 20, 2019, the owners of the Trader and Premium tariffs will be able to use the Tinkoff web terminal for free for the purchase and sale of securities. With the help of a web terminal, customers can make transactions on the exchange and see everything information about trading on several screens at once, in any browser and any number of devices, flexibly configure the interface of the web terminal and track updates to the market date (exchange data) in streaming mode. Data on transactions, positions and profitability of the portfolio in the Tinkoff web terminal are available for viewing for the entire period of the client's work with the Tinkoff Investments service - that is, from the moment of opening a brokerage or individual investment account in it, and not for the last trading day.

Tinkoff Investment premium customers have the opportunity to issue limit bids for instruments from an expanded list of securities (more than 10,000 securities, including OTC), for example, shares of Frankfurt or Amsterdam exchanges.

Articles from the newspaper and the Vedomosti website appeared in the service's news feed.

Individual Investment Account

PERSONAL INCOME TAX This option as of November 2018 allows you to return 13% of the amount invested through the IIS within 400,000 per rubles year (maximum - 52,000 rubles per year). When deducting type "A," the tax authorities will return the money to the client from the amount paid to the state as income tax. This option is suitable for novice and conservative investors, whose strategy is based on investments in low-risk instruments, for example Bonds , in the Federal Loan (OFZ). As of November 2018, the maximum amount that can be deposited for IIS is up to 1 million rubles a year. For large investments, the Tinkoff Investment client can use a brokerage account in addition to the IIS.

For more experienced investors, the robo-observer can become an additional tool for making decisions and finding interesting investment ideas. Now users of the service can receive an ordered and personalized list of information messages (news, ideas, forecasts) for companies of interest to them (which were added to the Favorites section) and for securities from the investment portfolio. In the news investment tape, a special algorithm analyzes the content of messages and determines which companies they are associated with. This option allows customers to display relevant content rather than the entire information flow at the same time. The investment news feed will combine various sources of information, for example, Rambler News Service, VC.ru, Interfax. The bank plans to expand the list of sources.
