The house with Atlases in Moscow

The house with Atlases on Solyanka was built in 1882 on the project of the architect Vasily Karneev in style the neorenaissance for tea dealers, the father and the son Dmitry and Alexey Rastorguyevykh. The first floor intended for shop of house owners, and two top levels occupied apartments. After the revolution the house was nationalized. The former profitable apartments converted into utility. In the Soviet years in the House with Atlases there lived the famous scientists — the physicist-radiologist Pyotr Lazarev and the chemist Sergey Nametkin.

2019: Property sale for 1 billion rubles

On May 23, 2019 it became known that the residential part of the well-known "House with Atlases" is bought up on a quarter even before completion of restoration works, and commercial - completely.

Buyers showed high interest in the project of restoration of the former profitable house of tea dealers Rastorguyev located in kilometer from the Kremlin on Solyanka. Even before the termination of the main stage of works on adaptation of the historical mansion in the center of Moscow for the modern use planned for the end of 2019 in it it is already sold to the real estate for 1 billion rubles.

BMC Development is engaged in implementation of the building of 1882 of construction which received the name "The House with Atlases" thanks to the refined sculptural facade from 4 titans. The company purchased an object at biddings at Rostec Group for 616 million rubles. Organizational planning solutions were developed by the architectural and restoration workshop "Faros" and architectural bureau — "Tsimaylo Lyashenko and Partners". All repair and restoration works are conducted under control of specialists of Moscow Department of Cultural Heritage.

The historical heritage and "special spirit" of old Moscow were very demanded in the highly competitive market of the elite real estate. For half a year in "The house with Atlases" 5 of 19 residential residences for the total amount over 650 million rubles are sold, and transactions on all commercial premises - still almost for 350 million rubles are closed.

"House with Atlases"

2018: Purchase of an object by BMC Development company

In 2018 the BMC Development company purchased an object at biddings at Rostec Group for 616 million rubles and in September, 2018 started recovery of historical appearance of "The house with Atlases".
