2023: Market growth by 15% to RUB 4.49 billion

In 2023, the volume of the Russian market software for Learning Manage System (LMS) reached 4.49 billion. rubles This is about 15% more than in the previous year, when the result was recorded at the level of 3.92 billion rubles. Such figures are reflected in a study by Nexign and MegaResearch, the results of which were published on April 19, 2024.

Under LMS solutions, analysts mean platforms that allow you to manage training courses remotely. Such software serves to centrally create and distribute educational content, including online courses and videos. Users can access various educational materials online, such as through web interfaces or mobile applications. LMS platforms allow students to track progress, generate reports, and provide performance information. With LMS, employees can acquire knowledge at minimal cost, giving companies numerous benefits.

The Russian market ON for training management systems grew by 15% over the year

The presented report analyzed LMS systems in the field of retail, finance, telecom, air transportation, as well as in the oil and gas and metallurgical industries. It is said that such platforms are most in demand among large organizations, with more than 5,000 employees. At the end of 2023, about 50% of market participants use automated corporate training, of which 87% are in Moscow. The rest of the companies conduct internal and external training in the format of seminars, with the help of mentors or do not engage in training at all.

In general, training management systems are most actively used by companies from the financial, educational, telecommunications, aviation, oil and gas industries, as well as among industrial industries and trading companies. Moreover, some industrial enterprises and financial conglomerates use proprietary LMS systems for operation.

According to forecasts, in 2027 the volume of the Russian market for LMS systems will reach 6.72 billion rubles. The expected growth is due to the fact that, despite the crisis, large companies are ready to invest in training automation, since this allows them to save money in the short term.[1]
