2024: Hotel opening

On November 1, 2024, it became known that the Akron group opened the city's first five-star hotel, Acron Hotel Veliky Novgorod, which is part of the Radisson Individuals network, in the historical center of Veliky Novgorod. Investments in large-scale reconstruction of the hotel exceeded ₽2 billion.

According to the press service of Akron, the project was implemented in partnership with Radisson Hotel Group and the management company ZONT Hotel Group. The hotel offers 50 comfortable rooms in seven different categories, ranging from a standard suite to a presidential suite.

The Governor of the Novgorod Region Andrei Nikitin emphasized the importance of the appearance of a five-star hotel to increase the tourist attractiveness of the region and create new standards in the hospitality industry.

According to the press service, the hotel's infrastructure includes a multidisciplinary fitness center with an indoor pool and a panoramic haute cuisine restaurant "Proun" on the top floor, managed by the company "Burmistrov Group."

Vice President of Akron Vladimir Kantor notes the particular importance of creating 100 new jobs and opportunities for interaction with the entrepreneurial community of the Novgorod region within the framework of the project.

Violetta Romero de Torres, Managing Director of Radisson Hotel Group Russia, characterizes the opening of the hotel as the beginning of a new era of luxury and hospitality in Veliky Novgorod. The hotel is located within walking distance of the main attractions of the city - the Kremlin, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Drama Theater.

Alexander Gendelsman, co-owner and managing partner of Zont Hotel Group, points to the project's focus not only on tourists, but also on local residents, for whom a comfortable recreation infrastructure has been created. ^[1]
