2022: Start of operation of the chain of stores

In May 2022, it became known about the creation in Russia of a new network of nut stores, sweets of dried fruits. This is a project called The Nutcracker, developed by Fudstor, the main owner of which is the Israeli B Smart Trade of Cofix founder Avi Katz.

As the representative of Avi Katsa told Vedomosti, every year Fudstor plans to open about 30-40 points in Russia with an area of 50 to 80 square meters. m The first two stores already operate in the shopping centers "Raikin Plaza" in Maryina Grove and "Vodny" near the metro station. "Water Stadium," follows from the information on the website "Nutcracker." The range of stores will include nuts, dried fruits, sweets, freshly squeezed juices, coffee, tea, legumes and organic products.

The amount of investments will be 8 million rubles, of which 2 million rubles is a lump sum payment. The planned payback period of the project with a monthly turnover of 3 million rubles is one year, net profit is from 700 thousand rubles.

According to Mikhail Burmistrov, CEO of Infoline Analytics, the amount of investments in the Nutcracker looks 1.5/2 times too high, given the lack of a strong brand and large-scale advertising support. He also notes that there is quite high competition in the segment of dried fruits: there are many national diasporas from those countries where products are supplied.

According to the expert of the portal Franshiza.ru Anna Rozhdestvenskaya, each point will bring about 700 thousand rubles. monthly in the form of net profit, which will allow you to recoup costs within one year, but you will have to open points only in large cities or tourist capitals with large traffic in shopping centers. There is no net player in the market for dried fruits and nuts, she adds, but this niche cannot be called empty.[1]
