SF Education was founded by Alexander Valtsev, Timur Ali-Zade and Alisher Fozilov in 2013. Valtsev lived and studied in Toronto, returned to Russia and founded SF Education as an informal professional community in VKontakte.

SF Education offers its customers an online training platform, access to a content base with more than 1 thousand hours (by March 2021) of video courses, live webinars with professionals in their industries, 24-hour support chats in various instant messengers, as well as interactive offline and online cases. Startup training programs are divided into faculties, within which you can choose professions with advanced training for 6-12 months or modular courses on specific skills that take 1-3 months to master.

History

2021: Attracting $500,000 investment

On March 16, 2021, SF Education announced the attraction of $500 thousand in investments. The startup, as TAdviser reported there, invested an international organization of venture investors with Russian roots Vershina Capital and a European venture fund with a focus on EdTech, whose name is not disclosed.

SF Education will invest in product line development, talent attraction and multiples marketing growth. What time the startup was estimated according to the results of the financing round and what shares investors received is unknown by March 16, 2021.

SF Education co-founder and CEO Alexander Valtsev noted that the startup invites only active professionals from well-known companies who are focused on practice-oriented classes, and also organizes interviews with the best students.

2020: Number of paid service customers - 4 thousand people

By 2020, the SF Education project became an online university in finance, investment, business analytics and law, received an educational license, and increased the number of paying customers to 4,000 people.
