this day Mikhail Prokhorov, the president of Onexim celebrates a birthday. The Russian billionaire, as of the beginning of 2009 — the richest person in Russia. In Russia the Day of radio is celebrated. It is a holiday of workers of all communications industries. For the first time this date was solemnly mentioned in our country in May, 1925. It was thirty-year anniversary from the moment of the invention of radio A.S. Popov. Semicentennial anniversary of radio coincided with victorious completion of war with fascist Germany. On May 2, 1945 there was a Resolution of Council of People's Commissars of the USSR on fiftieth anniversary celebration from the date of the invention of radio. Since this time, considering a role of radio in cultural and political life of society and in defense of the country, the government decided to determine on May 7 annual "Day of radio"
