Career

2005-2019

Pankov worked as sales director of "" Hyundai Motor CIS(2005-2007), vice president and chief executive officer of the Russian representative office Mitsubishi (2007-2015), as well as general director of CJSC "" Renault Russia(from 2015 to 2019).

Also, before the start of his career in the automotive industry, Pankov worked at Sberbank, Procter & Gamble and Nestle. In addition, for several years he worked as a member of the Strategic Council for Investments in New Industries under the current Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, the Council for Industrial Development of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, as well as other business public organizations in Russia.

In 2020, Pankov was appointed CEO of the ADV group of companies (specializes in marketing and advertising).

2022: Appointment as CEO of Aurus

On December 28, 2022, the appointment of Andrei Pankov as the new head of Aurus was announced. He replaced Nikolai Khodosevich, who in January 2022 was appointed acting general director of Aurus.

Before heading Aurus, Andrey Pankov led the AD ad group.

With great joy and responsibility, I am ready to start fulfilling new, ambitious tasks to increase the pace of industrialization of the project, increase the dynamics of volume growth, as well as scale Aurus as a brand, with a multi-directional, comprehensive promotion strategy both in Russia and within the framework of plans for expansion into export markets, - said Pankov, commenting on his appointment to the position of general director of Aurus.

Aurus is the first Russian luxury car brand to feature a limousine, sedan and SUV at the moment. Reasons for the change of management of the company by the end of December 2022.^[1]
