Biography

Born February 1, 1971 in the city of Cherepovtsey, Vologda Oblast.

1990: Service in the Armed Forces

From 1990 to 1992 he served in the Armed Forces of the USSR.

1992: CherMK - Severstal

From 1992 to 2006 he worked in various positions at the Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant (Severstal OJSC).

1998: CSU

In 1998 he graduated from Cherepovets State University with a degree in Electric Drive and Automation.

2006: Electrical repair

In 2006, he was appointed General Director of Electroremont LLC.

2010: Cherepovets city administration

Since 2010 - First Deputy Mayor of Cherepovets.

2012: Administration of the Vologda Oblast

Since 2012, he worked as Deputy Governor of the Vologda Oblast, First Deputy Governor of the Vologda Oblast.

2014

RANEPA

In 2014, he underwent professional retraining under the program of training of the highest level of the reserve of managerial personnel at the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation.

Since 2014, he worked as deputy plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Northwestern Federal District of the Presidential Administration.

2016: Mayor of Vologda

November 7, 2016 was elected mayor of the city of Vologda.

2017: Governor of the Novosibirsk Region

On October 6, 2017, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin, he was appointed Acting Governor of the Novosibirsk Region.

September 9, 2018 won the early elections of the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region. 64.59% of voters voted for him.

September 14, 2018 Andrei Travnikov took office as Governor of the Novosibirsk Region, is a full state adviser to the 2nd class of the Russian Federation.

2022: Member of the Presidium of the Commission on Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation

Deputy Chairman Dmitry Chernyshenko held the first meeting of the Commission on Scientific and Technological Development in 2022 in a videoconference mode. This became known on February 7, 2022.
