Education

In 1993, Elena Legezina studied at the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after I.M. Gubkin with a degree in economics, continuing her education at Moore School of Business USC (1993-1995) and at Harvard Business School (2008) with a degree in Business Administration and Management.

Career

2021: Appointment as CEO of GE Healthcare in Russia and CIS

At the end of March 2021, Elena Legezina was appointed to the post of General Director of GE Healthcare in Russia and the CIS. She replaced Nina Kandelaki, who ran the company for four years and left the company at the end of 2020.

Having headed the Russian representative office of GE Healthcare, Legezina will be responsible for strengthening GE Healthcare's position in the region by developing existing business areas and introducing new high-tech solutions to the market in priority areas for Russian healthcare, including oncology, cardiology and digital technologies. She will also oversee the company's educational initiatives implemented at the GE Healthcare Academy site in order to improve the professional competencies of healthcare specialists and administrators, the company said.
