Biography

2018: Appointment of Riverbed as the CEO

At the beginning of April, 2018 the Riverbed Technology company offering systems for performance improvement of corporate IT infrastructure announced change of the CEO. It appoints Paul Montford instead of the cofounder Gerry M. Kennelli ( Jerry M.  Kennelly) which will officially leave the company in April.

As notes the CRN edition, replacement of the leadership of Riverbed happens how the company displaces the business accents towards cloud services, software-defined networks and other developing technologies which are provided in service quality and bring the repeating income.

At the beginning of 2018 Riverbed reviewed the affiliate program in that direction to help the companies which cooperate with vendor, to receive new regular sources of income. In the program under the name Riverbed Rise the producer refused the statuses for partners and instead offered them a system which allows to be more independent and to increase flexibility in work.

The head of Atrion Communications company (the partner of Riverbed) Pat Grillo considers Paul Montforda one of the most "convenient" heads in the IT industry.
