Shishlov Alexander Vladimirovich - in the status of the Commissioner for Human Rights in St. Petersburg.

Biography

Alexander was born on July 28, 1955 in Leningrad.

In 1977 got an education St. Petersburg State University.

In 1984 defended the master's thesis - Candidate of Physics and Mathematics.

In 1994 got legal education of the St. Petersburg (Leningrad) state university.

From 1977 to 1990 worked as the engineer, the research associate, the head of the laboratory at research institutes in the field of management of complex systems.

From 1990 to 1993 Shishlov worked as the deputy of the Leningrad (St. Petersburg) city council, the member of presidium and small Council.

In 1994 and for 1995 was the director of programs of the St. Petersburg humanitarian and politological center "Strategiya".

From 1995 to 1999 worked as the deputy of the State Duma of the 2nd convocation, the vice-chairman of Committee on affairs of Federation and regional policy.

In 1999 and for 2003 worked as the deputy of the State Duma of the 3rd convocation, the vice-chairman.

In 2004 and for 2005 worked as the director of educational programs of the St. Petersburg humanitarian and politological center "Strategiya".

From 2005 to 2012 Shishlov worked as the adviser of Permanent mission of the Russian Federation at the international organizations in Vienna.

In 2012 it is elected the Legislative Assembly of Saint Petersburg to a position of the Commissioner for Human Rights in St. Petersburg.

Since 2012 works as the chairman of Coordination council of Commissioners for Human Rights in the Northwestern Federal District.

Since 2014 cochairman of Coordination council of the Russian Commissioners for Human Rights.

Valid state councilor of St. Petersburg of the 1st class.

For July 8, 2015 Alexander Vladimirovich Shishlov works as the Commissioner for Human Rights in St. Petersburg.

Family

Married. Two children. Three grandsons.
