Was born on July 20, 1974 in Rostov-on-Don, Russia.

Education

Career

1996 - 1999 - the CEO of YuBS Firm LLC, Moscow.

1999 - 2003 - the CEO of Monolit-ABK LLC, Moscow.

2003 - 2008 - the commercial director of JSC ROSTVERTOL, Rostov-on-Don^[2].

2005 - 2007 - the head of committee of helicopter programs of JSC UIC Oboronprom.

2009 - 2010 - the Assistant Secretary of the industry and trade of the Russian Federation.

2011 - the board member of the JSC Irkut Corporation^[3]

2010 - 2012 - the director of the department of the aviation industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

2012 - ^[4] repeatedly was a part of Board of Directors of the JSC Irkut Corporation].

Shareholder of YuSS Trade Construction Company Ltd (85%)^[5].

On May 10, 2012 - it is appointed to the position of the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation^[6].

In January, 2015 the Board of Directors of JSC OAK elected the President (sole executive body) of Yury Slyusar for the term of five years. Mikhail Pogosyan's powers as President of the company were at the same time stopped. The Board of Directors also agreed with combination by the President, the Chairman of the board of JSC OAK Yu.B. Slyusar of a number of positions in Boards of Directors of other organizations.

In June, 2015 the president of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) Yury Slyusar joined JSC Aeroflot-Russian Airlines the board. The new structure of council is elected at the annual general meeting of shareholders of national airline.

In March, 2018 Aeroflot approved 12 candidates for the structure of Board of Directors, of which will be chosen 11 on the forthcoming annual meeting of shareholders. Yury Slyusar entered into group of candidates.

For April 16, 2018 Yury Borisovich Slyusar works at the president's position, the chairman of the board of PJSC OAK, the board member.

Is registered as the owner of the commercial organization "The exhibition^[7].

• industrial policy in the aviation and radio-electronic industry and also in the field of bioengineering technologies, the chemical, pharmaceutical and medical industry;

• preparation of programs, strategy and plans for issues of development in civil industries of the industry, including short-term and mid-term forecasts of development of industries;

• investment policy in the industry in the set sphere;

• upgrades, technology development and stimulation of innovations in the industry in the set sphere;

• increases in power efficiency of the industry in the set sphere;

• development and implementation of measures of support and development of small and medium-sized businesses in the set sphere;

• developments of programs, strategy, plans for development of industries and also short-term and mid-term forecasts of development of industries in the set field of activity.

Interesting Facts

In 2006 and 2007 ran the television festival "Five Stars" which was taking place in Sochi^[1].

It is remarkable that firms which were headed by Yury Slyusar in the capital of Russia were engaged in the edition and sale of sound recordings and also producing of contractors, the organization of concerts and release of musical^[9].

To civil service Yury Slyusar combined work in Rostvertol with occupation as producer and sound recording business in Moscow. Till 2009 he was the CEO and the main owner of Monolit-AVK LLC, Studio Monolith LLC (the edition and sale of sound recordings).

He also owned 79% of the Monolit production company - this company is created in 1994, is engaged in producing of contractors, the organization of concerts, release of musical collections, it is told on its website. At the end of August, 2011 the company redeemed^[7] share^[7].
