Zingarevich Mikhail Gennadyevich

Mikhail Zingarevich is the Russian entrepreneur, one of founders the Ilim Group. In the 90th years was Dmitry Medvedev's business partner.

Biography

Was born in 1959 in the city of Sebezh of the Pskov region.

Education

In 1981 graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Technology of pulp and paper industry majoring in "Machines and devices TsBP".

Career

From 1981 to 1991 worked at the different enterprises of the industry, including at the Segezha PPM, the Izmail TsKZ.

In 1991 headed sales department of Tekhnoferm company where created a supply system for export of pulp-and-paper products.

Since 1992 as the marketing director and logistics of Ilim Pulp company organized the system of shipments, logistics and sales in Eastern and Western Europe, and since 1996 — in China.

Since 2001 — the board member "Ilim Pulp", supervises sales to the company, marketing strategy and development of new businesses.

Since July, 2007 — the board member of JSC Gruppa Ilim.

In 2009 held a post of the president of development company of Plaza Lotus Group. Acted as the co-investor of projects of the company, the business center of the class A SINOP became first of which. After delivery of BC in operation in 2014 the capital management company "RVM Capital" purchased it for the amount approximately equal to two billion rubles.^[1]

Claim for recognition by the bankrupt

The arbitration court of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region registered the claim for recognition of the president of Plaza Lotus Group by the bankrupt and the board member of the Ilim group Mikhail Zingarevich. JSC ДОМ.РФ Bank acts as the applicant. It became known on January 29, 2020.

The credit institution requires to collect from mister Zingarevich debt in the amount of 20 million rubles because of suspension of project implementation of PLG during the period till 2016. At the same time in the company say that the claim has "technical character", debt is provided with pledge of property and for January 29, 2020 the parties discuss possible options of settlement of a situation.

It is reported that the above-mentioned claim for bankruptcy is the first for Mikhail Zingarevich. Earlier it always managed to resolve similar issues in a pre-judicial order. Date of consideration of the statement of claim is not appointed to the end of January, 2020^[2].

Interesting Facts

Brothers Zingarevich avoid publicity. They became widely known as a result of the conflict with Vladimir Kogan and Oleg Deripaska for the Kotlas PPM. Within several years the last tried to dispute the right "Ilim Palpa" on plant. As the analyst of Lesprom Industries Consulting Pavel Artemyev told, Deripaska wanted to receive strategic superiority in the industry, having taken control over one of the largest cellulose and logging plants of the country. However Kogan and Deripaska did not achieve progress.
