ABO.CMS 5.6

The Armex company submitted in the summer of 2011 the new version of a management system for the website ABO.CMS 5.6. In the new version significant changes and completions in modules and a core of a system were made. Thanks to these changes the functionality of a system considerably increased and represents more opportunities for developers, and for users there is more convenience in daily work.

One of the main changes in the new version is the possibility of the ABO.CMS installation on any hosting. Now any edition of a management system for version 5.6 website does not require for installation of existence on the server of the Zend Optimizer program any more. These changes open for programmers and the web studios which are engaged in development of the websites, unlimited opportunities in respect of completion and writing of separate functionality under any requirements of the customer and their integration with ABO.CMS 5.6.

Also new WYSIWYG editor will become a pleasant surprise for users. In the new editor it became more convenient to work with files and graphics, for example, there was an opportunity to change the size of already loaded images, to rotate them or to cut off, and to save the made changes at once without repeated loading on the website. Also there was a possibility of the choice of options of loading - both according to one file, and using mass loading. Now users can manage with ease categories, create folders and move documents. Thanks to new functionality of WYSIWYG editor to work with tables, cells and data became more conveniently and quicker.

The Fields of Users tab using which it is possible to add, edit and delete information fields in personal user information is added to the module "Users". The administrator can select the necessary format of fields, appropriate fields for certain groups, to appoint them obligatory at registration or just to do information. This innovation significantly expands possibilities of use of a personal account of the user.

Changes in the new version of ABO.CMS 5.6 concerned also online store. Now the user at a design of purchase can connect receiving on the e-mail the address of messages notifications about a current status of the order. In the directory of goods the feature for display for users of the last goods browsed by it is added.

From important and significant changes there is also a wish to note complete replacement of the shablonizator used in a management system updating to the 3rd version of API in the module Google maps and an opportunity in the module of Article to integrate them in thematic categories.
