2020: Start of service

On May 26, 2020 it became known of start in Russia of the service calculating the best places of lease for trade. The solution under the name "City Accelerator" is created in the National center of cognitive developments of the ITMO University.

As told TASS in the press service of the Russian Venture Capital Company (RVCC), the new technology provides search of optimal locations of outlets and other business objects, calculating places of visit, popular with citizens, by means of the intellectual analysis of their activity on social networks.

In Russia the service calculating the best places of lease for trade is started

"The city accelerator" allows to execute analytical requests on the basis of geospatial data for search of the best place for placement and development of the business. It can significantly help entrepreneurs whom the problem of resource optimization and efforts faces, authors of the project hope.

Use of the platform does not demand from users of special skills of programming and powerful computing resources. At the heart of technology of search of places "through passage" for opening of shops and cafe — the analysis of the depersonalized data on activity of users of social networks using artificial intelligence technologies.

A system considers tags of a geolocation and responses and also compares them with information on frequency of growth of activity of users in a specific point within month or year. The new method of separation of space using the scheme which each element corresponds to area with the set activity level (a convolution tree) was developed for correct determination of areas, popular with citizens, developers note.

By May 26, 2020 "The city accelerator" is available to use, but only after sending the request on the website of the National center of cognitive developments of the ITMO University.[1]
