Eaton VSQ is a line of gate pumps.
On August 28, 2017 the Eaton company announced start of a line of the pumps VSQ (Vane-Speed-Quiet). They are created for operation at rotating speed 0-50 RPM.
Use of this product allows to reduce energy consumption, to increase performance in industries:
- casting and processing of metals under pressure,
- forming casting

The lamellar pumps VSQ are capable to work at rotating speed from 0-50 to 3000 RPM. They are capable to function in the two-quadrant mode — as the pump and as the engine — at a decompression stage. The technology of the gate pumps VSQ from Eaton includes a special ring of Cam which provides continuous forcing of pressure during the work, both in the pump mode, and in the engine mode.
Working pressure allows to reduce the size of the pump to 290 bars and to minimize costs for installation. The lamellar pump forms the compact block in combination with the flange and the electric motor.
Modular construction provides maneuverability during the moving, installation and transportation. Construction of cartridges allows to repair them and to interchange the position on different pumps.
The pumps VSQ have low noise performances. They can be exploited in many industries where drives with regulated rotating speed are used.
