Full Body 3D Scanner

2018: Announcement

At the CES 2018 exhibition in January the supplier of photographic equipment and services of printing of Kodak  announced 3D - the body scanner allowing to create three-dimensional figures of people.

A system under the name Kodak Full Body 3D Scanner uses a hybrid technology 3D - scannings from Twindom company and has very compact sizes (3 x 3 meters) that allows to install the equipment in the constrained premises.

The cabin is equipped with the built-in lighting instruments and the system of automatic calibration of color. Scanning occupies only a quarter of second therefore the procedure will suit children and animals.

Kodak Full Body 3D Scanner

In a system algorithms of three-dimensional reconstruction which transfer geometrical features of a body with a fine precision are implemented: from a pose of the person to folds on his clothes.

3D - a portrait to the utmost use in the different purposes: for example, the figure printed on the three-dimensional printer will become an original souvenir. Also the received measurements of parameters of a body are of value: it opens new technological capabilities in such areas as medicine, dietology and a fashion.

Twindom proposes the complete solution for creation 3D - portraits: the equipment, a cloud service for loading and image processing and also the delivery service of the full-color objects printed on 3D-pritere (delivery date — from one to two weeks). The 3D Scanner Kodak Full Body system uses this solution therefore in fact it can be considered the product Twindom with a brand of Kodak. This trademark should draw attention of consumers to the scanner.

After the announcement sales of Kodak Full Body 3D Scanner began. Its cost is not reported. The portable computer for management and also tool kit for setup of the equipment and spare parts enters the delivery, in addition to the scanner. The annual guarantee распространяется to the 3D Scanner Kodak Full Body components.^[1]
