2019: The announcement of solutions on technologies of radio frequency identification for fitness clubs

On July 11, 2019 the ISBC company reported that it developed solutions on technologies of radio frequency identification for fitness clubs. The towels supplied with high-frequency RFID tags are traced by readers and become an element of Internet of Things. Systems created by the Zelenograd engineers prevent losses and thefts, automates inventory and accounting.

According to the company, the anti-theft solution is from a subsystem of accounting and control with UHF readers, the software and radio-frequency identifiers on controlled objects. For control in towels the specialized passive RFID tags steady against moisture and frequent washings are sewed. In an exit zone from fitness club the system of accounting and control is installed. The equipment scans a tag at distance to 8 meters, even from the closed bag or a backpack. If the client forgets to return a towel, at an exit the sound signal is given.

Automation of accounting and control is provided by a smart cabinet of ISBC RFID Keeper. Clients when receiving a towel put the card key to the reader integrated into a cabinet. A system writes off a towel from balance when the user hands over it, resetting in a special opening after the training.

The solutions ISBC provide growth of inventory accuracy to 99%. Turnover of towels becomes simpler, and significant savings are reached. Based on implementations for July, 2019 in the leading Russian fitness clubs, the average time of payback of RFID systems due to decrease in losses is 1.5-2 months.
