Konica Minolta announced on December 8, 2020 development of the system of Runalytic for assessment of the running equipment of athletes-athletes and fans of run. Systems are the cornerstone the technologies of Internet of Things applied to image processing and visualization.
The Runalytic system helps to estimate provision of the person during run by means of sensing technologies and image processing and also to trace and analyze its physical indicators.
For example, Runalytic can carry out the analysis of a bearing of the athlete by means of artificial intelligence. The camera takes the runner, and then the received image in real-time mode estimates a neural network algorithm.
Besides, the solution allows to carry out the professional evaluation of the technology of run based on results of measurement of a bearing. Konica Minolta in cooperation with Track and field athletics club selected key indicators of development of a running form. Athletes and fans of run can use them for improvement of the results.
All indicators remain in the cloud storage of the cyberphysical platform, in need of them it is possible to load later. Thanks to it the athlete has an opportunity to compare indicators, watching the progress.
Runalytic in general simplifies process of support and development of technology of run: now for this purpose permanent personal contact with the instructor or the special equipment is not required. Costs on trainings are reduced therefore they become more regular.
