In May 2022, L'Etoile announced the launch of a marketplace. The site features 1,100 sellers, 60,000 items of goods under 1,400 brands, including biologically active additives, products for sexual health (lubricants, stimulant devices, etc.), medicines, face devices, beauty equipment (hair dryers, epilators, facial and body massagers) and flowers.

L'Etoile was the first among beauty retailers to launch a marketplace based on the already existing online store letu.ru, which is an important part of the L'Etoile ecosystem. Now any manufacturer of cosmetic and perfume products can become a partner of L'Etoile, the company said.

By the end of 2022, the company plans to develop new models for working with suppliers, such as FBS (showcase + fullfilm) and DBS (showcase + delivery), which will significantly expand the range and work with a large number of sellers. According to Vedomosti, citing a representative of the retailer, during 2022 L'Etoile plans to additionally attract about 140,000 more goods for beauty and health to the marketplace. Products that have successfully proven themselves on the marketplace can then be presented in retail stores of the network, the company emphasized.

According to experts interviewed by Vedomosti, L'Etoile wants to compensate for some of the goods falling out due to sanctions due to parallel imports. In early May 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Trade published a list of goods and brands for parallel imports - they can be imported into the country without the consent of the copyright holder. The 23-page list includes goods and materials from hundreds of foreign brands, including Prada, Armani, Yves Saint Laurent and others.[1]
