2019: Implementation of Panasonic Snow Beauty Mirror

Since December 17, 2019 visitors perfumery and cosmetic a concept-stora of the Japanese company KOSÉ in Tokyo will be able to get the personalized advice on care of skin from "a smart mirror". On December 12, 2019 the Panasonic company reported about it.

According to the company to begin work, the user needs to sit down only in front of the mirror. A system starts itself and through short time will bring to the surface of glass made the analysis and recommendations.

The set of the contactless sensors which are built in a mirror kind of illuminate skin, fixing a status of a surface and deep layers. With an accuracy of the medical device, the mirror notices not only inflammations, wrinkles, "the line of a smile", a time and roughnesses of tone, but also the hidden problems of skin invisible to a naked eye. Having analyzed data retrieveds, a system issues an optimal set of products and procedures for each case – from the range of KOSÉ and other producers.

The combination of the genetic algorithms developed by KOSÉ together with Meiji's University to technology of image processing from Panasonic allows to visualize (literally to show) "ideal face" of the person or how he would like to look. "The mirror of the Snow White" uses the skin analysis results received at the first stage for generation of nearly 500,000 versions of images of a human face and brings them randomly to the surface. The user then can select the most successful, in his opinion, option, and a system "will illuminate" the main differences of the existing image from "ideal" and will advise how to get closer to him using ukhodovy and cosmetics.

Completing and, perhaps, the most interesting stage will become printing of peculiar "patches" - the thinnest sheets of material which are ideal on tone for skin color of the examinee. The special cosmetic printer of Panasonic obtaining data from "a smart mirror" is for this purpose used. Everything that remains to the person, it accurately to paste "patch" over problem section – for example, on a cheek or a temple. The printer still is at a prototype stage, however in Panasonic hope that "live" testing will give a set of important data and will help to finish the device quicker.
