The Bolshoi Theatre digitized personal archive of the famous singer. Announced this ELAR (Electronic archive, NPO Opyt) Elar on November 26, 2020.

On the ELAR planetary scanners the personal archive of the Honoured actress of the USSR Ksenia Georgiyevna Derzhinskaya who was a soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre from 1915 to 1948 and performed the leading soprano repertoire was scanned.

The personal archive of Ksenia Derzhinskaya was transferred to the museum of the Bolshoi Theatre her by the granddaughter, - the manager of the museum of the Bolshoi Theatre Lidiya Glebovna Kharina tells. – It is very interesting, big archive. Private papers, telegrams and congratulations, the addresses, materials on tours in Paris in 1926, newspaper cuttings, programs of performances with Derzhinskaya's participation in Sergiyevsky people's house and the Bolshoi Theatre are its part (from 1913 to 1919). Photos in life and in roles, decade posters (1940e) and also materials about Fedor Shalyapin".

Also during the project more than 2000 posters, archive of photos with autographs from storage of the museum of the Bolshoi Theatre, musical scores and books of receipt of the museum were digitized.

We work with ELAR corporation within several years and are very happy with this cooperation, - Lidiya Glebovna Kharina says, - quality of the created electronic copies fine, after scanning it is possible to create the book at once that we also made once.

The museum notes that all digitized documents will be published in Goskataloge. It considerably will facilitate work to all who are engaged and interested in the history of musical theater in Russia and also will make possible creation of various virtual exhibitions.
