The application collects, sorts and analyzes a huge number of data from education level to structure of the cart for purchases in online stores. The social rating becomes a basis for remuneration how the bank offers higher credit limits with more low interest rates for clients with good reputation. However the social credit much more widely also includes non-financial actions, such as antisocial behavior and volunteering.

In general this system should cover all Chinese aged from 18 up to 45 years, i.e. about 460 million people. The application which received the name "unictown" allows each user to earn from 350 to 800 points on six different scales, turning-on personal information, work as the volunteer, social communications, the credit history, the history of purchases and experience. People with low points (less than 640) will not be punished, but will not earn special rewards, first of all, at employment.

The unictown application was started in the test mode in February, 2019, and in the market is going to launch a broad campaign since 2020.[1]
