2019: Export of 115 kW of double-sided heterostructural solar modules to Switzerland
On December 5, 2019 the Hevel group reported that it exported 115 kW of double-sided heterostructural solar modules to Switzerland. Modules were installed on a roof of one of the Coca-Cola plants in Valls's commune. It is the first object of solar generation on double-sided solar modules put in commercial operation in Europe.
The double-sided heterostructural solar modules focused from the East on the West allow to displace development peak since midday morning and evening hours and also develop up to 30% more electric power during all lifecycle in comparison with one-sided modules.
Two-sided modules became one of the main trends in the market of PV technologies: in 2018 their share in the market reached 20% and for December, 2019 it continues to grow. The heterostructural technology is the most optimal for use in two-sided modules as the coefficient of twosideness of cells of Hevel exceeds 90% that is much higher than indicators of other PV technologies, including one of the most widespread in the market PERC technology at which the twosideness coefficient usually reaches 70%. It means that the back of the heterostructural modules "Hevel" develops almost as much the electric power, as front.
Use of two-sided heterostructural modules in commercial projects demonstrates that owners of solar installations when choosing technology are guided by final cost value of the made electric power more and more during all lifecycle of modules. Heterostructural two-sided modules are one of the most effective from this point of view and allow to reach the fastest return of investments, |
