2020: Development of WMS

On March 13, 2020 the AXELOT company announced project implementation on development of WMS in a warehouse of IREKS company.

Automation of a warehouse complex allowed to organize accounting of raw materials and finished goods by batches and to provide management of work of a warehouse in real time.

A few years ago IREKS and AXELOT companies implemented the project on automation of a warehouse of products in Lyubertsy. Cooperation continued in 2018 within the project for development of the system implemented earlier.

First of all, within the project transition to fresher version of WMS from AXELOT was planned. Also it was required to automate the appeared warehouse section connected with production and to integrate WMS with a third-party management system for production processes.

In a warehouse it was necessary to organize address storage and accounting of raw materials and finished goods by batches. It was required to provide traceability of the used batches of raw materials and the received batches of finished goods. In general on project deliverables increase in accuracy of accounting of a remaining balance of products in a warehouse, minimization of dependence on personnel and reduction of quantity of errors at accomplishment of acceptance, selection and shipment of goods were expected.

Need of automation of section of the warehouse which is taken away under production needs demanded the solution of a number of specific tasks. So, during the organization of process of feed of this section of a warehouse it was necessary to perform a number of completions of a system in connection with features of production process and the customer's purposes.

At a stage of start of WMS need to change functionality of the procedure of feed as the zone of selection was limited on capacity was revealed. It was necessary to feed goods on requirements of production and certain (specific) packagings. During the project any algorithms by determination of requirement and a remaining balance by containers, bags and makeweights were developed. Behind goods in a zone of makeweights control is exercised.

Also in a warehouse automatic acceptance of a number of documents and receipt on a warehouse remaining balance was organized. Automatic selection of goods and containers on certain stages of shipment and also automatic shipment and write-off of goods from a remaining balance is performed. Automatic recalculation of goods and change of a remaining balance in certain zones of a warehouse by data from a third-party system are implemented. Consecutive and parallel iterative assembly of raw materials for a production site is implemented. Selection is planned, raw materials are selected and shipped by a component (a silo, manual assembly, liquid components).

In addition to integration with a production management system of WMS it was also integrated with a corporate information system of the customer based on the 1C: Enterprise platform and also with electronic scales.

All tasks set for the project were solved. Work of a warehouse complex is completely automated, control of a warehouse is exercised in real time.
